The next morning came too soon and the bright sunlight that was refracting through the glass windows have woken up the alpha from his deep slumber.
"Aghhh... My head hurts." Bright groaned as he woke up, feeling a headache first thing in the morning.
As he got up, feeling all sober now, he noticed the familiar room that he's in, "Wait, Am I in our hotel room?"
Bright scanned the whole place, wanting to make sure if his assumption was right. When he got to the bottomline, he then uttered, "It's our room alright, but when and how did I even got here?"
All he knew was that he was drinking out last night at the overwater Lagoon Bar. Aside from that, he can't remember anything onwards.
Not even a single memory was remembered.
So when did he got home?
And how?
As Bright thought of several reasons when and how he got back to their room , a sudden image of Win flashed into his mind.
"Where is he?" Bright then looked around in their room but to his dismay, Win was nowhere to be found.
He asked himself if Win was the one who brought him back to their room.
If that was true then it would have been embarrassing.
So much for distancing himself.
Bright sighed as he thought of what happened yesterday that made him indulged himself with alcohol. For the past five days, he knew how Win was trying to make a move on him and get his attention in any possible way.
Much to his surprise, he can't deny the fact that he's affected. More likely, he's confused.
He's confused about his own feelings.
He kept asking himself why did Win have so much impact on him. To the point that he started questioning his feelings for his lover.
Bright has been in love with Gun for years but when Win showed up, he started doubting his feelings.
And it all started way back when they were at University, freshmen year.
When their band, Ctrl S, performed on the Music Fest at their campus, he found someone amongst the crowd who caught his attention from the sidelines. A guy who's eyes were glistening in awe. He was quite tall with bunny like teeth and his skin was white like a pearl. Even though he was wearing a hoodie, Bright saw his entire profile clearly than a distilled water.
His eyes were darted on him during the whole performance even though Gun was watching as well from the crowd. He felt something whereas he never felt before even from Gun.
After the performance, he wanted to meet that mysterious person upfront but when he was about to look for him, Gun showed up, complimenting his performance onstage. At that very moment, he was reminded that he's in a relationship.
There's clearly no reason for him to be interested in others.
He's faithful and he would never hurt the one whom he loves. So that's why he just let it off the hook and forgot about it. He figured he might never encounter with that person again but to his surprise, he saw him over and over again.
Every performance, every football match, every practice and even when they were eating at the canteen or outside the campus, that mysterious person was always there.
But what Bright can't believe was that, even though that person was watching amongst the crowd, he always noticed him. Even though that person was watching from the sidelines, he always noticed him. Even though there were a lot of people at the restaurant, he always noticed him.
