CHAPTER 24 | LATE
I am standing in front of a huge mirror while looking closely to myself. I am wearing a black ball gown with a silver design. I look so much like my mom. My make-up is too heavy and my hair is in a high ponytail.
I'm so nervous because it's already my debut.
"Ma'am, we're now starting" a lady organizer called me and guided me to get ready outside my room.
This is an exclusive debut so for those who were not invited, they will definitely can't go inside the hotel.
I can almost hear the loud music inside. And while I'm still walking outside, Race is already waiting for me at the entrance.
Race is wearing a silver suit with a black neck tie. He even wore a simple make-up.
I immediately hold his arms while he stared at me.
"Don't be nervous. You're officially legal," Race whispered that made me smile.
The double door suddenly opened and I saw the invited people who are so elegant with their outfits. The music feels so nostalgic that I can't even remove my ears from it.
The people clapped their hands as soon as we walked through the red carpet in the aisle. I can't clearly recognize the faces of the people because of the lights that are dancing.
Race guided me to the stage where a special seat was prepared for me. I scanned the place and saw the designs. My chair is a bit big and it looks like I'm the queen because of the crown.
Below the stage are a letter standees saying Bea Almazen Fiercer @ 18.
Pagkaupo ko sa gitna ay siya rin ang pag-iwan saakin ni Race upang pumunta sa kanyang upuan katabi ang aming pamilya.
The party started smoothly. I saw some old friends and neighbors who look dashing in their suit and dresses. The two huge led wall on the side flashed some pictures and clips of mine. I wondered if where did they get those. The gift area was already full and I didn't expect that I'll receive so many gifts.
The first program lasted for almost 1 hour and half before the dinner started. And after this, I will be going to change my gown for the dance and the next program.
Many people talked to me and greeted me while I was eating. My family already talked to Race's family and that's where they confessed that me and Race have something. I expected the lady Saldivar to be shocked but she knew that it will happen.
I'm so happy to see the families comfortable to each other. Mom created a mess but the Saldivar's forgave her, so it made us to be thankful.
