CHAPTER 10

CHAPTER 10 | LOST CHILD

Wednesday, 9 am when I already arrived at the garden of our University. The photoshoot will happen here so I straightly go here.

I brought a personal make-up artist that my mom hired. Hindi naman siya gaano ka bongga but still, she was hired.

It was still early when we arrived so other contestants are not here yet, including my partner.

Kung pagmamasdan ang buong paligid ng aming paaralan, makikita mo ang pagkakaabala sa kilos ng mga tao. Busy lahat ngayon, hindi lang ang mga estudyante kundi halos lahat ng mga tao. Tomorrow will be the first culmination for this school year kaya kailangang maging successful ito.

Ate Rei, my make-up artist was busy putting her stuffs on the table so I told her to sit down beside me.

"When will we start, Miss?" Ate Rei formally asked me even if she could just talk to me casually.

"Maybe, later. Like, quarter to 10? Something like that," I answered and she nodded.

Tanaw mula rito sa pwesto ko ang organizers at photographers na naghahanda ng set. There are two sets that was being prepared; The under the tree set and the fountain.

Habang pinagmamasdan ang kanilang ginagawa ay bigla akong nakatanggap ng mensahe.

Race:

Okay, going.

I didn't reply to him and just turned off my phone.

"Bea!" napalingon ako bigla sa likuran pagkatapos may tumawag sa pangalan ko.

When I saw him, I immediately smiled.

"Clark! Akala ko ba hindi ka pupunta ngayon?" tanong ko habang papalapit siya.

"Actually, gusto kong manood sainyo. And of course, I don't want to miss this" he answered. Kinuha ko naman ang isang bakanteng upuan at ipnwesto ito sa tabi ko para makaupo si Clark.

"Grabe, nag-abala ka pa talagang pumasok kahit pwede namang magpahinga ka na," may concern sa tono ko pero wala namang ibig sabihin. I'm just amazed by him.

"Alam mo namang palagi kitang susuportahan, diba?" he said while smiling so I also smiled.

Nathalie's back to her work again even though something happened last Monday. She still managed to get up and move on. Mitch on the other hand is also busy because they need to buy some ingredients for tomorrow's cooking contest.
