Chapter 6 - A Dream

I woke up in a room, a very dark room. I was alone. Then there was a crack of light coming in from what looked like a door. "Come with me Kate" I voice whispered, the voice was so familiar. I stood up from the bed and held the top of my head with my hand. My head hurt a lot. I walked towards the light, I was right it was a door. The door was ajar, I  slowly opened the door. I opened to see a small white room, everything was white. I stopped in the doorway and tried to adjust my eyes. I could see a white curtain in the middle of the room, it looked like it surrounded something. I only just realised I had nothing on my feet and I was wearing some ripped up short and a t-shirt. It looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards.

I slowly took some steps into the white room. I walked up to the curtain and I cautiously opened it. It was Ericka lying in what looked like a hospital bed, she looked asleep. I ran to her and wrapped my arms around her, "Ericka, I'm so happy you're okay. Where are we?" I felt a tear run down my cheek. Ericka stayed silent. I pulled away from her and saw she was covered in blood, I looked down at myself and I was covered in the blood aswell. I screamed. "Ericka! Are you okay?" I started shouting her name but she never responded. I started sobbed, she was fine before I hugged her what happened.I started to sob harder and harder. What was happening? Was my best friend dead? I put my face in my hands and sobbed hard. I started to feel like I couldn't breathe again. "Er-ric-cka, I-I ne-ee-d -y-oou!" It felt like someone was chocking me and I started clawing at my neck. What was happening?

Everything went dark after that. I had just had the best 3 days of my life and now all of this was happening.
