Chapter 17 - London

"Kat, wake up Kat! Kat! Kat!" I groaned "Kat! We're going to London in 2 hours!" I shot up in the bed "What?" "We slept in Kate! We only have just over an hour to get ready and leave!" I jumped out of bed, Ericka was fiddling around in her bag so I took a quick shower, after I came out Ericka jumped in. I quickly put on a light blue skater dress with my white converse. I quickly dried my hair and put it in a plait. Erick entered the room just as I was finishing my make up. She was ready except she had to put on her make up. "We still have 20 minutes before we have to leave, you do your make up and my dad and I will put the bags in the car" My dad and I took all the bags and put them in his car boot, I ran back inside while dad started the car. I grabbed my bag and put my camera and phone in it "Come on Ericka, we have to leave right now!" Ericka grabbed the last of her stuff, I said goodbye to my brother and my mum, Ericka and I made our way out to the car. When we got in the car I took out my vlogging camera. Since London I had been vlogging a lot more. "Hey Katie-Kats, so we're off to London today. We're just heading to the train station now, our train is at 10:15 and it is currently 9:57! We may have slept in, I'll update you guys when we get to London!"

We arrived at the train station, dad helped us get our bags sorted then it was time for goodbyes. I hugged both my parents tight "It's only 2 weeks Kate! Go explore! And enjoy your birthday, we'll call you!" my mum smiled. "I'll miss you guys!" "Kate! That's the last call for our train hurry!" "I love you guys! I'll see you in 2 weeks!" "Bye Kate! Bye Ericka!" my parents said in unison Ericka and I waved before rushing to get on our train. We finally got on the train and sat down. Ericka and I let out a huge sigh of relief "London here we come!" Ericka said.

Once the train started moving Ericka called Caspar and I called Joe. "Hey!" "Hey Kat!" "That's us just on the train, we'll see you in 8 hours! Have food ready for us" I giggled "I can't wait to see you! Are you sure you don't want me or Caspar to pick you guys up from the train station?" "Yeah we're sure Joe, just remember the food!" Joe laughed "Okay I'll remember!" "See you soon, love you Joesph!" "Love you too Katie!" I hung up the phone.

The whole way down to London Ericka and I spoke and laughed about how in just a few months our whole world had changed. Since reveling Joe and I were together my subscribers went from around 2,000 to now having around 300,000 and it grows every single day.

After talking for so long I became really tired so I ended up falling asleep on Ericka's shoulder. I must have slept for at least an hour because when Ericka woke me up we were only 15 minutes away from London. I quickly took out my vlogging camera and pressed record, "So guys we are 15 minutes away from London and I'm so excited to see Joe again" "And Caspar" Ericka shouted "We're gonna stay at Joe and Cas's place tonight and then were going to L.A!" Ericka and I did a silly dance to the camera.

The train soon came to a stop, Ericka and I grabbed our bags and got off the train. Ericka grabbed us a taxi and I quickly ran to get a couple bottles of juice. When I was in the queue to pay I saw a familiar face. I tried to make out who it was and it wasn't until he turned around I knew. It was Tom. I paid for the drinks and ran back to Ericka. "You okay Kate?" "Yeah! Just excited to see Joe!" we got in the taxi and headed to Joe and Cas's. Why was Tom here? Was he following me? I had to stop thinking about him, maybe it wasn't even him. "Kate?" I turned my head from the window to Ericka "Yeah?" "I've been talking to you for the last 10 minutes!" "Oh sorry, what were you saying?" "I was saying that you owe me for cutting our London trip short so you're gonna take me to the zoo when were in L.A!" Ericka smiled, "I thought you were mad at me! Of course I'll take you to the zoo, just me and you!" I reached across and hugged her. "Here you are ladies!" the taxi driver shouted. I grabbed our bags while Ericka paid him. We walked towards the door to the apartment and Ericka rang for Joe and Caspar's apartment, "Hello?" it was easy to tell who it was from the accent "Caspar!" Ericka and I shouted in unison, "Kate? Ericka?" "Yeah now let us in, it's freezing!" Ericka pretended to shiver. "Alright, come up" the door buzzed open and we walked to the apartment door. Caspar opened the door and Ericka engulfed him in a hug "I've missed you so much Cas!" Once they were finished Caspar hugged me "It's good to see you again Kate, Joe's in the kitchen. I'll take your bags" Caspar grabbed both Ericka and I's bags and wheeled them into the apartment. Ericka followed behind him and I walked to the kitchen. Joe was at the sink so he had his back to me, I tiptoed behind him then I wrapped my arms around his stomach. He turned to face me "Kat?" He wrapped his arms around me so tight I could barely breathe. He pulled away and cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. "I've missed that" Joe pulled away and I started blushing, "I've missed you!" I buried my face into Joe's chest and he held me close.
