Chapter 16 - Getting Ready

"Hello? Kat?"

"Joe" there was no emotion in my voice.

"Kat I am so sorry! Zoe told me she told you everything. I swear I pushed her off of me then I called you and some guy punched me in the face. I love you so much, I am so sorry!"

"You got punched in the face?"

"Um...Yeah"

I giggled, "I forgive you" "You do?" "Yeah, you got punched in the face I think that's enough pain" he let out a little laugh "I'm sorry" "It's okay Joe, just next time don't phone me at 3am!" we both laughed "Okay, I promise!" I felt better now Joe and I had spoke but I still wouldn't see him till next week. "How's the hangover anyway?" Joe groaned down the phone, "Zoe made me get out of bed, so I am currently under a blanket on the sofa and Alfie keeps shouting. So I would say the hangover is going pretty bad!" I laughed at him "I just want cuddles!" he sounded like a little kid. "Me too!" I said mocking his voice. I heard Zoe faintly shouting in the background Joe then groaned in response "Zoe's made dinner so I got to go. I'll text you after, I love you Kat" "Love you too Joe, bye" "Bye" I hung up the phone and went back to watching videos.

Once I was up-to-date with all videos I started editing the video I made earlier. Between editing and Joe's texts I didn't get to sleep until 10:45pm and I had college at 9 in the morning.

I woke up late this morning so I had very limited time to get ready this morning. My hair was in a messy bun, I had minimal make up on and I threw on some clothes this morning. At least I remembered my essay because it was due in today. I had two 2 hour lectures in a row then I had some practical work at a farm in the afternoon. At the farm everyone was put into pairs and I was put with the worst person in our class. Tom. Why did I have to be put with him? He spent the whole time telling me how beautiful or pretty I was, when he said it my skin would crawl. Thank god we were only at the farm for an hour. When I got home it was 6pm so I took a hot shower and changed into my pj's. I had nothing to do so I skyped Joe. He answered and him & Zoe appeared on my screen. "Hi guys!" I waved to the webcam "Hey Katie!" they said in unison, "Are you guys making a video?" "Yeah, I'll skype you back after, that okay?" "Yeah, talk to you then" "Love you, bye" "Awh! How cute! My little brother is all grown up!" Zoe said and she started pinching Joe's cheeks, Joe was balancing his laptop in one hand and he used the other to hit Zoe's hands away from his face, I started laughing "Love you too Joe, bye!" Joe ended the call.

I decided to watch some TV. I watched 2 episodes of Impractical Jokers and was away to watch another until Joe name popped up on my computer. I answered "Hey Kat, sorry about earlier!" "It was my fault, I should have checked if you were filming first" We spoke until 10pm. We worked out some stuff for when I get the train and Joe helped me work out ideas for some collabs. Joe kept yawning so I told him to go to bed, after saying good night I hung up.

After talking to Joe I did a little research for college before I fell asleep on my laptop. I was awoken to my dad shaking my shoulder "Kate, you fell asleep on your laptop" I sat up in the bed and rubbed my eyes. "Oh, sorry I'll put it away now" "It's okay, we're away to bed good night" "Night dad!" I put my laptop away and fell asleep straight away.

Sunday (Day before London, two days before L.A)

Ericka and I were going down to London tomorrow afternoon so Ericka dragged me into town so she could get some last minute things. I only bought a couple things; I got a couple memory cards and I got Jack & Finn a brand new lens for their birthday. Ericka had so many bags I had to carry some! We stopped for lunch at Di Maggio's. "Have you even packed yet Eri?" I asked as we sat down at our table "Um.. Well, it's a long story but no!" "Oh god Ericka! We leave tomorrow at 10am!" "I know! I got caught up doing loads of stuff! Can you come over and help me out please?" I laughed "Yeah, okay!"

After Ericka calmed down we spoke about London and L.A. "I'm so excited to see Cas again! I've missed him so much!" "I know, all you talk about is Cas!" we laughed together "Do you want to stay round at mine tonight just to make everything easier for tomorrow?" "Sure!"

Once we finished eating we went to a card shop to get Jack & Finn cards and then we went to Ericka's house. I walked into Erick's room and it was a mess, "Ericka? Has a tornado hit your room?" "No, I couldn't decide what to take to L.A." "Well, let's get started!" I held clothes up and asked Ericka if she was taking it or not, then she would pack it in her suitcase. It took us 2 hours just to sort out all her clothes! We sorted out her camera equipment and she packed some other stuff on her own while I checked my Facebook and Twitter. When she was finished we grabbed all her stuff, she said goodbye to her mum and we walked to my house. Ericka wheeled her giant suitcase behind her and I carried her hand luggage and camera bag.

We got to mine at around 8pm and we both changed into our pj's and curled up in the bed. Ericka wanted to watch some films so we watched Bridesmaids, Rock of Ages and Happy Gilmore. When Happy Gilmore was finished it was near 3am and Ericka had fallen asleep. I turned off the TV and closed my eyes.
