Chapter 9 - Going Home

I didn't sleep long but when I woke up Joe was sprawled out on the bed still asleep. I kissed his cheek gently and got out of bed, I grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom. I put on some black skinny jeans with a white t-shirt that read 'NOTHING TO WEAR' I also straightened my hair and put on a black beanie. I came out the bathroom and Ericka and Joe were still sleeping so I decided to start packing. I packed all of my stuff which didn't take too long, I then realised it was freezing in the room and I had packed all of my jumpers and jackets. I saw Joe's jacket draped over the back of the chair, I grabbed it an out it on. It was baggy so I wrapped myself up in it. "First you steal my heart and now you're stealing my jacket too!" Joe laughed, "I didn't know you were up!" Joe got out of the bed and came over to hug me. "Joe, no offence but you're just in you're boxers!" Ericka was sitting upright in her bed covering her eyes with her hands. "Apologies Ericka, I'll go put some clothes on!" Joe grabbed his clothes from last night and ran to the bathroom.

"Ooooooo!" Ericka giggled "What did you two get up to while I was sleeping?" I gave her a look "Ericka Taylor Smith! We slept! Because that is what you do in a bed!" I tried to look serious which didn't work because we both burst out in laughter. Joe came out the bathroom and looked so confused. "Come on Eri, you have half an hour to pack and get ready!" Ericka screamed and started running around the room.

Ericka finally finished packing and we met my dad downstairs in reception. Joe didn't let go of my hand the whole way down to reception. I was gonna miss him! Dad and the taxi driver packed our cases into the taxi and Ericka hugged Joe goodbye and got in the taxi. Then my dad came over to say goodbye "I hope we'll see you soon Joe!" he said shaking Joe's hand. Once dad let go of Joe I hugged him. I didn't want this to end. "I love you Kat, I promise I'll see you soon" "Soon isn't good enough!" "It'll be quicker than you think" he squeezed my tighter. "I love you Joesph Sugg" I planted a kiss on his cheek which left red lipstick on his cheek. "I love you too Katie Monroe!" Joe picked me up and spun me around " I'll see you soon Kat" he kissed my softly "I'll see you soon Joesph" I kissed him quickly before turning to the taxi. I got in and waved Joe goodbye.

"Don't be sad Kate! You'll see him before you know it!" Ericka beamed, just then my phone beeped indicating I had an email. I unlocked the phone and opened my emails, I clicked on the latest one it read:

Katie,

Joe isn't who he says he is. Do not trust him Katie, he is dangerous.

"What's wrong Kate? You look like you've seen a ghost!" I showed Ericka the email. "Don't believe them Kate, it'll be someone who's jealous of you and Joe. Just ignore it."
We arrive at the train station and board our train, I can't get that email out of my head so I decide to try and vlog. I take out my camera and turn it on, "Hello Katie-Kats, I hope you are all well. Apologies for the lack in videos, I was in hospital for a couple of days but it's nothing to worry about as I'm fine now. Ericka and I had to cut our trip short as something's happened and we're currently on the train heading back to Aberdeen. I promise I'll make a video as soon as I get home. Much love, Kat"
The train had left the platform and I was sad. "You're mums excited to see you again Kate!" Dad is so happy to see mum again, I mean I'm happy I'll get to she her again to but I just missed Joe. "Hey since we'll be home early why don't you call work and see if you can work tomorrow?" "Sure, I'll do it now."

I worked in a French beauty supply store and I loved working there because I worked with my auntie. The shop was in the town so I enjoy going shopping after work. It was only a small shop so I knew everyone who worked there and we all got on really well. I rung my boss's number, he picked up on the third ring. "Hey Nick! Just wanted to know if I could work tomorrow?" "Um.. Sure Kate but I thought you were in London?" "Long story I'll tell you tomorrow!" "Okay hun, see you then" I then opened Twitter and checked through it all.

We finally arrived home. Mum picked us up at the train station and we dropped Ericka at her house and we then drove home. When I got in I called Joe. I hoped he wasn't asleep because it was 10pm. Ring, ring, ring, ri- "hello" a sleepy Joe answers. "Sorry Joe I just wanted to tell you we got home safe. I'll let you go back to sleep and I'll call you tomorrow on my break I love you" "I love you too Kat" and with that I ended the call. I sat in the living room and chatted with mum for a bit, telling her everything because excluding Ericka she was my best friend.

I returned to my room and remembered I said I'd make a video, crap! I got my camera out of my bag and set it up on my tripod. What kind of video was I gonna do? I'll just talk about our trip. I click record.

"Hello Katie-Kats!

As you all know my best friend Ericka and I had a trip down to London and we were going to Summer In The City. We arrived in London the night before SITC so we just chilled. Then in the morning we went to SITC! It was a great experience and I even saw a couple of you guys there! I met my absolute fave, ThatcherJoe! And Ericka met Caspar Lee. We only had enough time to me one more person so we met Zoe." I rambled on about how lovely Zoe was and how she was so pretty. Then I spoke about the rest of the trip, except I left out all the bits about Joe. I neared the end of the video "I also have a big secret for you all on Sunday! So there will be another video up on Sunday and I have a big announcement! But for now thank you for watching, click the thumbs up, subscribe and I'll  see you on Sunday! Much love Kat!" I ended the video.

Straight away I went and got ready for bed, I snuggled up in my duvet and watched 'The Little Mermaid' I fell asleep near the end and I wasn't awoken until my alarm at 9am.

I started work at 11 so I got up and got ready. I went and had a hot shower then I grabbed my black skinny jeans and my long sleeve black top, I put them on then did my hair. I dried it then I straightened it and put it in a high ponytail. After I put on some make up, brushed my teeth and put on my black vans I said goodbye to my mum and dad and I walked to the bus stop. I got on the bus and when I sat down I took out my phone. I looked through my Facebook and Twitter then my phone started ringing, it was Nick. "Hey Nick, what's up?" "Oh nothing I just need you to grab me a coffee" I giggled "okay I'll get your usual?" "Yep!" "Okay see you soon" the call ended.

It was nearly my stop so I put my phone in my jacket pocket and stood up. I pressed the button and got off the bus, thanking the driver. I walked to Costa and grabbed a latte for Nick and a tea for myself. Once I had the drinks I walked to work. I got into work and it wasn't that busy so I told Nick all about London and all about Joe. Once we were finished our drinks Nick asked me to clean the shelves. I started at the door, I would take the products off the shelf and polish then put them back on the shelf. The top shelves I always struggled with because I was too short for them. I now had my back to the door and I heard a customer come in and Nick greeted them so I continued cleaning until I turned to talk to Nick who was standing with Joe next to him.
