UNKNOWN YOU

I groaned, I saw stars in my vision as I groped the rough thing I was laying on.

My eyelids fluttered open, my left cheek flat against the wet surface of the grass. My legs were sprawled on the ground and I groaned before placing my palms on the grass, lifting myself up.

Thank God I have a helmet on.

I sat myself up, rubbing my bottom which was hurting. The last time my butt became so painful was the time Tae pretended to be My Little Pony's Pinkie Pie and kicked me in the butt.

I rubbed the back of my neck, looking around my surroundings. The place was soaked with water. The soil smelled somewhat like fresh rain just sprinkled itself on it.

There were trees and bushes, and little vines wrapped themselves around the branches, as if it were imitating the wind. I looked to my left and my eyes widened as I saw Ginger grazing her nose on the green grass.

Thank God she's okay.

I grunt as I try to stand up, my butt aching as I did. I winced as I looked around the what seems like a forest in a swamp.

To my right was a lake, it was shining and it was crystal clear. A smile formed in my face as I looked at the glistening pool, I walked towards Ginger, the orange horse who was feasting on grass.

I crunched my boots on the soft grass, still rubbing my aching butt.

But my eyes fell onto something.

My eyes widened as I saw

Another horse.

Not just any horse aside from Ginger, but it was pure white. It's mane matched the hairs of it's white canvas, milk-colored fur, and it didn't have a saddle or a bridle on it.

I squinted my eyes, my feet taking me closer to the unknown horse. There was an aura around that horse. It shone pure and wonders of mysteries I couldn't fortell.

My eyes softened as I looked at the horse infront of me. It was staring back at me, it had black eyes and it was standing near the shore, it's fur shone against the light and it was slightly damp.

I continued my steps until I was infront of the horse, my eyes trailed lower and lower...

...until I saw it's leg.

There was a thorn vine wrapped around it's hind leg. I gasped silently before looking at it back in the eye, and it displayed a picture of pain and please-get-me-the-fuck-out-of-here.

I looked around, the gears in my mind churning as I looked athe the muddy shore near the lake. I needed to get the thorns out before it gets hurt without hurting my hands too. My eyes landed on a pile of sticks laying beside a bush.

I walked towards it and grabbed two thick wooden sticks before walking to the horse, placing a stick inside the small gap between his hind leg and the vine.

"I don't have a first aid with me, but please endure the pain for awhile, I'll take it out," I told it and gave it a small smile before digging it inside, the horse winced a bit, but it stayed in it's position.

I slowly turned the vine using the stick that was stuck to it, untangling it slowly using the other stick before I unwrapped it around it's leg completely.

I slowly stood up, whilst throwing the sticks and staring at it again.

"You're bleeding, I think I should take you with me for a bit for treatment, my uncle is an expert with horses. He'll know what to do," I tell him before patting it's long nose, it was sprinkled with small little speckles of dots. I patted it's nose before looking at it's silky mane.

"I need Ginger first, I'll walk us home," I smile at the horse before walaking towards Ginger, taking it's rein before walking towards the white horse.

"I'm sorry, I don't have an extra bridle, but I guess you can follow me? I'll just hold onto your neck," I told it before placing a hand on it's neck.

It snorts, giving me a glance before walking beside Ginger.

My uncle did say horses are smart, so I bet it does understand what I said.

I ran to the white horse, before looking at it from it's hooves to it's mane.

He does look really healthy for a horse with no owner.

Suddenly, my eyes landed onto something shining under it's fur, right under it's neck. My eyes widened a bit before pulling out my arm, gently touching it's soft hair.

"You have something on your neck," I tell it before running my index finger onto where the object was shining.

My eyes widened when it brushed on something cold and rough.

I tried to pick it with my fingers, and my lips were pursed as I looked at the object I was holding on it's neck, I pulled it out since it wasn't really attached to it's neck.

It was a small pendant.

"Jung.... kook?"
