Episode 4

YEEEHAWWW

"Uncle?"

I called out as I looked at the quiet stables, the other horses were either eating or sleeping, some were even just chilling by hanging their heads out.

I turned my heel and look at the back of the stables, and my eyes widened as I looked at some random person using a pitchfork to gather some hay.

The person turned around, a sunhat on it's face and dressed in a plaid button-up and skinny jeans.

"Oh my gosh! You scared me!" He exclaimed as I looked at my so-called uncle, running towards me before cupping my cheeks and looking at me from head to toe.

"You're safe! Taehyung told me you were gathering some firewood!" Hoseok said as he exhaled deeply looking into my face.

Wow, thanks alot brother.

I mentally threw a fit, making a note to swat Taehyung for not helping me out as if being thrown by a horse would be normal and fine.

"Uncle Hobi, I think I need your help," I swallowed as I looked at his face, lips turning into a small pout as he wipes his sweat against the heat.

I mean, we're in a countryside, how would he not be tanned in this humid heat?

"What do you need help with?" He asked as he tipped his sunhat down, revealing his raven-colored hair.

"I found a horse in the woods, and he was injured and bleeding. I think we should let him stay here before releasing him back into the woods until his injury is alright," I explained as I looked into his stoic expression.

"Hmm, he is limping, bring him into the stables, I'll be back with the herbs and medicine for him," Hoseok spoke before ruffling my hair.

He turned his heel and started jogging towards the house a few feet away. He walked up the stairs towards our front porch before entering the house.

I then hooked my fingers on Ginger's strap, and leading the other horse named Jungkook towards the stables.

As I pushed the door open, the smell of leather and horse food reeked in the stables, the small windows shone with sunlight, giving each horse a healthy glow as I stepped inside before letting the other horses follow me.

I first lead Ginger to her stable which was near the door before removing her bridle and saddle and filling up her huge feed with some water.

I walked out of her stable before leading Jungkook to his empty stable which was at the very end since he's going to be staying here temporarily.

Suddenly, the doors opened the reveal my uncle wearing a white button up and some cream-colored shorts, carrying a box filled with different medicines.

"Namhye, where's the horse you just saved?" Hoseok asked as he approached me, his eyes whisking towards the different horses.

"It's over here, I placed him in this empty stable!" I exclaimed as I gestured towards Jungkook.

Hoseok approached the horse slowly before getting on his knees and examining the bleeding leg the horse had.

"It's pretty light, he can still run at a fast pace. I'll just put some herbs on his wound and bandage it. Then he'll heal for about 2 weeks," Hoseok spoke before pulling out a container of mulched and grinded herbs, taking his chopsticks and opening it before taking out a portion of it.

He placed the herbs on his open wound before placing the container down and taking out a white bandage.

He wrapped it around his leg before fastening it and tying it up.

"I'm glad you're kind enough to bring him here, I'm happy to help him, he'll just rest for now," Hoseok said before standing up and closing the box.

I looked at Jungkook's hoof who was now nicely bandaged with no signs of bleeding before smiling at my uncle.

"Thank you so much Uncle Hobi!" I smiled before running towards him and giving him a huge bear hug.

"It's alright, it's normal for us to help those in need," he smiled widely before ruffling my hair and turning his back, walking towards the doors.

As the doors clicked shut, indicating that my uncle was gone, my eyes widened at the scene happening.

The horses were going berserk, neighing here and there as their hooves clopped to the air, their sounds getting louder with each second.

My body suddenly froze as I looked at the horse beside me, his fur black and ebony as he raised his hooves at me.

Sparky.

He was so close, close to actually try and run me down. But I couldn't move through the shock, and my eyes automatically closed as I waited for what was going to happen, the pain that was going to happen and everything happened within a matter of seconds. I tried to move my body, but it felt paralysed.

But suddenly, my body was tugged towards something hard but soft, my eyes still closed as I felt the my body collapsing towards it.

After a few seconds, my eyelids fluttered open, and my eyes widened and my jaw hung.

I came to face to face with a naked man.
