Rogue

I  studied my reflection bitterly.

I had wild pitch black hair that seemed to always be sticking up in some impossible way.

A strong jaw, and high cheekbones.

And of course my eyes.

One was green.

And the other was purple.

And no, they aren't contacts.

I absolutely hated them.

They just made me even more different from the others.

"Rogue! Dinner sweetheart!"

Yeah, eat up. Your getting kind of scrawny.

"Hey Bailey." I sighed.

Bailey was..well Bailey was dead.

I looked over at the fifteen year old boy who was laying carelessly on my bed.

He would flicker every now and then, like a faulty light bulb.

Bailey had been pretty much attached to me since I was five.

He had died protecting his younger brother, so when he saw me. He just sorta latched on.

But now that I was a year older than him, he had been spending less and less time around me.

He was pretty laid back, but he could be an ass every now and then.

You should get downstairs before Milah drags you down them.

"Yeah yeah.."

Milah was the oldest of five that lived here at twenty seven.

We were all runaways that happened to find the nicest lady in the world, Milah Jones. Milahs abilty was enhanced senses. So she made the perfect parent.

Her and her parents found us on the streets and decided to take us in. Milahs parents moved out into a cozier small cottage. But they still came over every other weekend. I had only been six when they found me, that was ten years ago now.

Of course there was the seventeen year old twins.

Jacob and Jessie.

Jacob was loud and ambitious, even after his childhood trauma. His ability, minor body manipulation. He  could basicly cause your body to twitch or do small moments.

Jessie well she was more shy, and quiet. Her ability, camouflage. She could melt into her surroundings. She could also cause small items to disappear as well.

And then there was young Lance. He was only nine, but he was full of energy. Literly. He could form small balls of electricity in his hand, or send small shocks throughout your body. He was to put it lightly, obesssed with me. He wouldn't leave me alone, EVER.

And then there was me.

Rogue Adams.

My ability?

I could see and speak to the dead.

If Bailey wasn't a hint enough.

And on a rare occasion, I could summon them.

But the downside?

They wouldn't leave me alone.

They would constantly whisper to me. Try to grab at me, voice out my darkest thoughts.

Not all were as nice as Bailey.

"Rogue! Dinner!" Milah yelled louder this time.

I sighed opening my locked door and walking down the stairs.
