The dog had been pacing for the last two hours.

And it sounded BIG.

I was to scared to move.

"Her names Killer darling." Ried hummed setting down what sounded like a glass bottle on a wooden table.

What an awfull name for a dog.

For reasons I couldn't identify anger bubbled up inside me.

"Thats stupid." I muttered.

He clicked his tounge, "Didn't catch that."

The warning in his voice was obvious.

"I said that's a stupid name for a dog!"

"Rogue! Are you trying to get killed!?"

Bailey exclaimed.

The bottle smashed as rapid footsteps approached me.

Ried grabbed my chin forcing me to face upwards. Something sharp was pressed against my neck.

"Have you not learned a thing?" He hissed "I swear to god I'll make that dog rip you to bits."

He ripped my blindfold off forcing me to look at the dog.

It was the biggest Great Dane i've ever seen.

But the poor thing just looked so stressed out..it broke my heart.

"Think her names stupid now?" He asked.

"Yes."

I should think before I speak.

~~~~
Better me than Boone.
Thats what I kept repeating in my head.
He had cut me.
A ragged diagonal line across my face.
Just deep enough to make a scar.
He was giving people more reasons to call me a Freak. I started to cry and that guard dog started to whine.
I looked up as I heard Josh come closer. At least he had let me keep the blindfold off.
He knelt down caressing the side of my face.
"Why'd you make me hurt you?" He sighed dramatically.
I was to scared to speak back.
He grabbed my shoulder roughly, "Good you've learned something fianally."
Crying out I tried to squirm out of his grasp. He pushed me back into the wall.
"Dog!" He snapped pointing to the spot in front of me "Stay."
She padded over sitting in front of me.
"I'll be back darling." He said kneeling down to give me a kiss.
I pulled away before he could.
Anger flickered in his eyes, "Thats alright. You'll learn soon enough."
He got back up walking briskly away.
Looking back to the dog I stiffened.
"Killers a stupid name." I whispered.
The dog almost looked like it agreed.
"I remember having a puppy. Before mom went crazy.. her name was Mili. But we all called her MiMi" I chuckled sadly to myself "But she ran away. Wasn't fair anyway, for her to live in that little apartment."
It then struck me how crazy I was being. Spilling my life story to a dog that most definitely wanted to eat me.
"Im calling you MiMi." I decided letting my head fall back to the wall.
"Your no killer, you just havn't been loved." I whispered.
Love.
Images of Boone flashed through my mind.
I wanted to go home so badly.
The dog layed so its head was resting on my feet. I reached down petting it as best I could with my wrists tied.
And to my suprise, she didn't even tru to bite my hand off.
Desperate situations call for desperate  friendships.
And I wasn't going to complain.
