It was night now.

And I was going to lose my mind.

"Bailey please. I can't be alone with these things.." I muttered backing into the corner of my room even more.

"Bailey.." I pleaded my voice a high whine now.

To go almost the whole day without him by my side..

I know it sounds dramatic.

But imagine having somebody that had been by your side for twleve years.

Who had basicly guided you since you were four years old.

Who was there for you when your mother wasn't.

Suddenly disappear.

I closed my eyes letting my head fall back.

Stop your whining already.

Even that boy got bored of you.

"Bailey...Please.." I begged.

I let my eyes flutter open.

I muffled a scream as I saw the shadows creeping closer to me. I hugged my knees to my chest, sick with fear.

Bailey always kept them away for me.

I should call out..

But what would they do?

Sit and watch me pitifully?

"Bailey.." I whimpered.

"I'm scared."

~~~~
Boone
I was coming back up the stairs from getting a glass of water when I heard it. The quiet whimper of a name followed by muffled crys.
It looked like it was coming from that Rogue kids room. I contemplated knocking, but it wasn't really my place.
But I couldn't bring myself to leave.
So I figured I'd wait a moment or two just to make sure he was ok.
~~~~~

Rogue

I couldn't breath.

They were surrounding me.

Pulling at my hair.

Pinching my skin.

I tried to conecntrate, make them go away. But there was just to many.

"Go. Away." I pleaded.

I shivered at the cruel laughter that followed.

I put my head between my knees starting to tremble. It would get better in the morning. I just had to suffer through this hellish night.

"Bailey..I'll do anything..just come back.."

When will you get it through your head that these people don't care!?

Especially a person like YOU.

"What did I do to all of you? You don't have to be so hatefull. Theres no point.." I whispered.

Theres no point in being kind either.

The sad thing was.

I couldn't even argue with them.

There really wasn't a point either way.

"Rogue? Are you alright!?"

"Can't you see them?!" I asked my voice trembling.

"Rogue theres nothing there."

"Milah, Milah there right there!" I yelled pointing feebly to the ever advancing shadows. I started swatting  away the hands that were trying to touch me.

But of course it did nothing.

"Rogue. You need to calm down." Milah said gently being carefull not to touch me.

"Bailey.." I breathed "he's not here. What if he's gone!?"

I started to hyperventilate clamping my hands over my ears.

"Rogue! Bailey will be fine! You need to calm down!" She argued.

Tears began to stream down my face as I squeezed my eyes shut.

"Concentrate on me Rogue. Let the voices fade out."

I didn't respond my jaw clenched almost painfully.

Your dead I'm alive.

But are you really?

"I am! Give me Bailey back! He's probaly worried about me!"

He's not your pet.

"I know that! He's my best friend!"

Best friends with the dead. Hmm..you sure your aren't more dead than alive?

"Positive." I muttered through clenched teeth.

I let out a a breath as I opened my eyes.

They were gone.

Not for long.

But for now.

Milah was kneeling on the ground in front of me, watching me through fear filled eyes.

"Bailey..he didn't come help me." I said quietly.

"Maybe he's finally found his brother." Milag suggested.

"But he said he would never leave me.." I whispered.

"I'm sure he'll come back.." she reassured me putting an arm around my shoulders.

I hadn't had that bad of an episode in years even.

This night really blows.
