Manik held Nandini's hand and was pulling her out. In all his outburst, he completely forgot about Nandini's injured foot and was walking a little faster than Nandini could keep up.

Nandini - But Manik...
Manik - You make me happy Nandini. You mean the world to me. And if my friends don't understand that, then they're not my friends in the first place. I can't believe Dhruv asked me to choose. After everything I have done for them and for FAB5, I have to make a choice to prove my loyalty! Seriously!

He put her arm around her to help her walk. But her foot gave away maybe because she had been standing for a while. Manik picked her up and walked out of college with Nandini in his arms. Nandini knew better than to ask him to put her down at this time. He was disturbed and she let him do what he thought right at this moment.
Unfortunately, Harshad had overheard their conversation and had found out that Manik had walked out of FAB5. His ultimate dream of breaking FAB5 was now a reality.

Alya - Exactly. You ruined the most beautiful friendship you ever had. All because of your ego and selfishness. And thanks to you there's no FAB5 anymore.
Cabir - How could you do this Dhruv? How could you put Manik through this? Nandini was walking out on him because of you. Do you have any idea Manik ka kya hota if Nandini had walked out on him. Maine use dekha hai when they weren't together. Manik cannot live without Nandini. Tune khud dekha tha use when Nandini was kidnapped.
Dhruv - I guess tum log sab Manik ke hi dost ho. Main hi yeh misunderstanding mein jee raha tha ki tum log mere bhi dost ho.
Alya - After the way you have hurt all of us, you really think we're going to take your side? Mujhe toh tumne sabse zyaada hurt kiya tha. But it's true that you've hurt all of us and all of us forgave you for it. But not anymore. You know, I'm glad Manik walked out. I'm walking out too. I can't deal with looking at your face anymore.
