The next day dawned and both Manik and Nandini were sleeping in each other's arms trying to postpone waking up in the morning as long as they could. Manik had his head placed on her chest, while she rested her cheek on top of his head. It was around 9 am in the morning and both of them were partially awake. However, both of them didn't want to wake up and face the day. They knew that the moment they get up and get out of their own little world, they'll have to face the music of whatever had happened on the prior day. But one more thing that was weighing both of them down even more was their contrasting thoughts about their life forward. Their argument from the previous night had pretty much proved that both of them were not on the same page as far as their approach to their careers were concerned and both of them were scared how this would affect their relationship. Both knew that the other one was awake but they didn't say anything and let each other be. However, after a while, Nandini couldn't help but initiate a conversation.

Nandini - Jaag rahe ho na?
(Are you awake?)

Manik - Hmmmm.

Nandini - Did you sleep at all?

Manik - Yeah. I did for a couple of hours.

Nandini - You never sleep well when you're stressed.

Manik - Hmmmm. Do you want to wake up?

Nandini - No. I just want to stay like this all my life.

Manik - Me too. But uthna toh padega na. Subah ho gayi hai already.
(Me too. But we will need to get up. It's morning already)

Nandini - Bas thodi der aur. I'm not ready to face the world yet.
(Just a little bit longer. I'm not ready to face this world yet.)

Manik - Okay.

The two of them hugged each other tighter and Manik kissed her on the crook of her neck and her shoulder. They both didn't say a word after as they wanted to live in this peace a little longer. However, their plan didn't of just being like this didn't last long as suddenly they heard the door of Manik's room fly open with Cabir and Mukti barging in.

Manik and Nandini were absolutely caught off guard with the sudden disturbance and unwillingly made some space between them and sat up on the bed. Whereas Cabir and Mukti were also suddenly feeling very awkward that they had barged in like that, without knocking. But in their defence, the butler had told them that Nandini was not in Malhotra Mansion today and since they knew Manik would be fast asleep, they had decided to straight go in and wake him up. Besides, they were also very excited about some news they wanted to share with Manik.

Cabir - Uhhh. Sorry guys. Sorry. Humein pata nahi tha Nandini yahan hai. Neeche Hari ne humse kaha ki sirf tu hai yahaan. Sorry.
(Uhhh. Sorry guys. Sorry. We didn't know Nandini is here too. But Hari told us that you're alone. Sorry.)

Mukti - Haan. Hum baad me aate hai. Sorry.
(Yeah. We'll come in later. Sorry.)

Manik - Chill guys. It's fine.
