Final part. This has been such a fun one too write!!

Black. That's all I remember. Vast expanses of pitch black that seem to twist and ripple with my every breath.

I can hear voices, distant but clear. They seem to merge together so I can't make out any words. But the presence of people will me to awaken.

I force my eyelids to open, but almost instantly closed them again due to the piercing light breaking through the black.

A small, almost non existent groan escaped my lips and I could feel the flock of people around me. Was I home?

"Hello?" I manage to whisper, still unable to open my eyes.

"Peter? It's Tony. Can you hear me?" I give the tiniest nod and I hear many exhales. "Friday dim the lights. The rest of you clear out we don't want to overwhelm him."

Footsteps retreated to the sliding doors of what I assume is the med bay. I feel Tony's hand on my shoulder, providing me with much needed comfort. After a few minutes I can finally flutter my eyes open.

Tony's face is red and tear stained, but full of relief. "Welcome back Kid." He whispers, his voice cracking multiple times.

I say nothing, I just cling to the baggy AC/DC shirt he is wearing and weep into his chest. I honestly don't know what to feel. There's the obvious relief to be home, excitement to see my family and friends once more. But there is this overwhelming guilt and sadness. I have left Camelot, Merlin. What if I can't find his dopelganger here? I would have given him false hope and that is cruel beyond belief.

"Sh kid you're okay now." Tony cooed, ruffling my hair slightly. The action makes me weep harder. Oh how I have missed this.

Two weeks. Two weeks I have been in this godforsaken bed enduring test after test. I keep insisting I am fine but the others are not convinced. Stephen has questioned me relentlessly about my magic, trying to figure out how it works. I can never give him a straight answer because in truth I don't know how it works. It's all instinct.

"For the last time I don't know. When I find Merlin you can ask him." I snap at the man. I realise my slip up and turn bright red.

"Merlin is here? How?"

"I um...I kinda made a spell that will restore his dopelganger's memories of me. Oh and it's not just Merlin, but the Knights, Arthur and Gaius too." I smile at the memory of them and Stephen looks at me fondly.

"Well we will find them soon. For now you need rest. God knows what travelling through time could do to you." I roll my eyes but stay in bed anyway. Once he leaves I play around with my magic.

At first I create a large dragon out of golden sparks, making it soar around the room until it bursts into mini fireworks. I turn my attention to the sink and with a flick of my wrist the water is running. I concentrate hard and mutter a spell. The water curves as if alive, trying to break free from the current. The more it wriggles the happier I feel. All this reminded me of the lessons with Merlin, honing my skills to get me where I am today.

I giggle to myself when the water leaves the tap, snaking through the air gracefully.

"Wow kid, this is quite something." The water explodes at the sudden interruption and I am drenched. Tony laughs from the doorway and goes to get me a towel. I smirk and gesture for him to stop.

"ξηρός" A warm breeze curls around me, drying every inch leaving a lovely warm sensation.

"I say it again. This is really something. How much did Merlin teach you?" Tony asked with his head cocked.
