Kaibigan
I did what Fort told me. Kahit it's tempting I did my best not to open my social accounts, I don't want to break my promise.
Dalawang linggo na din ang lumipas. Fort and Hany calls me sometimes pag nagka oras sila. They tried to call me everyday as possible but I told that they don't have to and I'm going to contact them if ever something happened, thankfully they agreed. I appreciate the effort, the time, and their concerns but I'm worried about them also. I heard nagkagulo silang pito. Thanks to Devie who keeps me updated.
They were friends already before I came, at dahil ipanagtatanggol ako nina Hany and Fort laban kila Jane and the others, naging magkaaway pa ata sila ngayon.
"Hany, it's fine. Di niyo na dapat pinatulan. They're your friends," isang beses na tumawag ako kay Hany nang pagkatapos binalita ni Devie sa'kin ang nangyari.
"Fine? Anong fine doon? They're spreading fake news! Dinudumihan nila ang pangalan mo—ang pamilya mo! I don't care if they're my friends!
Time passed by and I have to leave the province at doon na tumira sa bahay namin sa city. The house is still the same, a theme of white and a touch of gold. Our home here is not too big like our house sa Luzon since we don't actually live here for too long after we settled sa Luzon. If na pupunta man kami dito for vacation we rather stay in the manor, fresh and relaxing, a great vacation. At doon sa manor doon kami nagiging kompleto.
"Ma, I'll just go outside and roam around the place," paalam ko kay nang sumapit ang hapon at hindi na mainit.
"Ok, ingat ka ha. Wag lumayo masyado."
The village was still the same, may dumagdag na bahay lang konti.I stopped the pedals when I reached the park. Walang masyadong tao roon, they were five kids playing at tinatawag na ng mga bantay para punasan ang mga pawis ng mga bulinggit. Ang cute.
I parked my bike sa ilalim ng puno at umupo na sa katabing swing. I slightly swing myself, so calming. Rinig ko mula rito ang pagdribble ng bola sa katapat na court, soft laughs from the kids and tili ng mga bantay nito pag natataranta.
Tinitignan ko lang ang mga batang naglalaro at would laugh if may nakikitang nakakatawa nang may nararamdaman akong parang may nakatingin sakin. Tinignan ko ito and saw someone so familiar, nakakunot noo itong nakatingin sa'kin na para bang kilala niya ako at gusto niyang masigurado na hindi siya nagmamalikmata lamang. I smiled at the person when I recognized her.
"Angelie..."
"OMG! M-MIKAELA FUENTES?!" I nodded at her and smiled.
"OMG! LONG TIME NO SEE! "NAMISS KITA SOBRA!"
"Ako ba talaga namiss mo or yung pinsan kong crush na crush mo?" I teasingly told her nang humiwalay na sa yakapan namin.
"A-ASA! NAKA M-MOVE ON NA AKO DON NOH!" she defensively said looking away, blushing. I laughed.
"Don't like laugh as if it's not true!
"Huh? Sino?!" She pause for awhile, natauhan ata. She cleared her throat, "Ahm... I mean s-sinong may p-pake?!" I pursed my lips, stopping myself from laughing.
I asked changing the awkward topic for her.
"Yes, two years na din kami dito. She slightly blush, "The day we moved I was hoping to see you pero 'di kita nakikita until this day!" She smiled.
"Lumipat na kami sa Zambales a month after I graduated grade 6.
"Ah...so why are you here? Di pa naman bakasyon ah?" Nagtatakang tanong niya.
"I'm actually staying for good."
"So dito ka mag-aaral? Sa USC ba ulit?"
"Oo, next week na ako magsisimula since nasa second grading pa naman kayo."
"Sana magkaklase tayo!" She said hopefully.
"St. Mark ako, ikaw ba?"
"OMG! MAGKAKLASE NGA TAYO!" she was already jumping from happiness, kaloka.
After awhile we decide to go home since maggagabi na. We're both riding our own bikes, dahan dahan lang ang pag-usad habang nagchichikahan kami.
"Mag-momove on palang!
"Sure, bye! Send my regards to your parents ha! Also kay babylabs ko!" At umalis na si Angelie.
Baliw talagang babaeng yun.
