Sofie P.O.V

"Okay, I'm ready!" I say, grabbing my graduation cap and jumping down the last step.

We moved back into our house again, leaving my dream house behind. I still don't know why we moved there in the first place, but I definitely wasn't complaining.

All graduates had to be there an hour early, so Fano was taking me to the venue.

"You ready to be a graduate, gorgeous?" I blush and it doesn't go unnoticed by Ace, judging by his smirk.

"Yup, and if you're late for my speech, I will not be happy." I say, poking his chest. He chuckles and grabs my waist, pulling me flush against his chest.

"I promise I won't be late for your speech, gattina." He promises. I hear the car pulling up outside and grab Ace's face in both my hands and crash my lips to his. After a few seconds, I give him a final peck before running off, leaving him flustered.

"I love you, Ace!" I shout over my shoulder with a giggle.

"I love you more, sweets." He says softly, but I still hear it. I blow him a kiss, before getting in the car.

He's been much better since that day I went to his office. Well, more like that evening when we went out.

FLASHBACK:

"Okay, so where are we going?" Ace asks, shrugging off his tie.

"You'll see." I reply, grabbing his car keys. "I'm driving." He looks at me questionably. Yes, maybe I'm terrified of driving, but it doesn't mean I don't know how to.

What should have been a five-minute drive, turned out to be a twenty minute one.

"McDonalds?" Ace asks, dumbfounded.

"Yup." I chirp, jumping out of the car before he has a chance to open it for me.

I run to the counter and a guy around my age smiles at.

"What can I get you, beautiful?" He asks. Before I can respond, I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"My gorgeous girlfriend will have a big mac meal with a sprite and I'll have the same with a coke." Ace says, glaring at the him. The guy gulps and types in our order, sweat forming on his forehead.

When we get to our table, Ace pulls me into his lap. Stupid caveman.

"So, you're done being distant?" I ask popping a fry into my mouth.

"Yes sweets, I'm done being distant." He chuckles and buries his face in the crook of my neck.

"Good. Now I don't need to move to plan B." I smile happily.

"And what is that?" He asks with a smile.

"Slap some sense into you." I answer, eating another fry. Ace laughs a full laugh that makes my heart flutter.

"God I love you." He says, a smile still in his voice.

"Well, lucky for you I feel the same."

END OF FLASHBACK.

"Sofie, we're here." I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Stefano. Exiting the car, I get into the building.

"Ah, there you are Sofia." The dean says. "Your seat is right over here." She says, pointing to a chair on the stage.

"Thank you." I say politely, taking a seat.
