Ace P.O.V

Five years later...

I wake up and smile at my wife, who is nestled to my side. I gently kiss her temple and rest my head back on the pillow.

"Daddy!" I hear Aurora scream and her little feet running to our room. I'm immediately on alert, and so is Sofie, who jumps up, ready to fight.

Aurora runs into our room and jumps into my arms, clinging to me like a koala. Just like her mother.

"There's a monster!" She shouts, her eyes wide and her hands squeezing my neck. I let out a small chuckle and rub her back.

"Where is the monster, princess?" I ask as Sofie sighs and snuggles back into bed.

"In the closet! Save me daddy, it's going to eat me!" I smile at my little five-year-old princess.

"Mommy!" Vince shouts running to our room as well. Sofie groans and reluctantly gets up.

"Mommy! I can't find Rori! I wanted to wake her up, but she isn't there! We have to call uncle Antonio and uncle Nick now! Daddy, we need to find..." He exclaims, running in, but trails off when he sees her in my arms.

Aurora giggles and Vince stares at her before letting out a breath. "I thought you were gone." He grumbles and hugs Sofie. While Aurora is a daddy's girl, Vince is a complete mamma's boy.

Aurora pouts jumps off me to hug him. "I'm sorry Vincey." She says. He stares at her for a second, before returning the hug.

"It's okay, just don't scare me like that." For a five-year-old, he is really protective of his sister. I've taught him well.

I look at my wife and see her tearing up. I smile softly and wrap my arms around her. Her pregnancy hormones are in full swing. Yes, Sofie is six months pregnant with our son.

"They're so cute." Sofie cries into my chest.

"Daddy?" Vince asks with a frown.

"Yeah buddy?"

"Is our brother making mommy cry again?" I look down at Sofie.

"Mommy's just happy to have the coolest kids in the world." She answers, making the twins smile.

"We are pretty cool." Aurora says and Vince nods in agreement. I smile at the two and wonder how I go so lucky.

Sofie P.O.V

Ten years later...

I peck Ace on his lips and smile as he drives off to work. Damn he ages well.

"No! We are not and I repeat not inviting him to our party!" Vince says, making Rori roll her eyes.

"Vince, listen to me. He's Amy's brother, so he has to come!"

"No! He likes you, and if he does come, then I'll beat him to a pulp for even looking at you." The twins are currently bickering about the party they're throwing for their sixteenth birthday.

"Calm down Vince." I say, joining them in the kitchen. They each kiss my cheek and ruffle my youngest son, Roman's hair.

"Mom!" Vince groans. I let out a small laugh and look at my daughter.

"You know, I was your age when I tried to sneak out." As soon as I say that, Vince covers Rori's ears with his hands, not wanting her to get any ideas. She shrugs him off and listens.

"Well, tried to... I was so scared of Antonio that I didn't make it to the front gate before running back." Rori pouts, while Vince is relieved. He's honestly like all my brothers combined, but he's a real mamma's boy.

"Hey sweets." Ace says when he comes home.

"Hey." I say, kissing his lips as the boys groan.

Rori hits Vince on the back of the head. "You'll be lucky if you get something close to that." I smile at my daughter. Whoever wins her heart will be a very lucky man.

"That's right, princess." Ace smiles, kissing her temple.

"I don't want something like that. I'll never be tied down." Vince says confidently.

"I remember when I used to think like that." Ace says. "Look at me now. Happier than I ever imagined." Rori aww's while Vince and Roman make a face.

"Come on guys, it's time for dinner." I say as Ace snakes an arm around my waist.

We ate dinner as a happy family. Rori and Vince constantly bickering, but eventually cuddling up to watch a movie, and roman trying to act older than he really is. I really couldn't get much happier. My life truly was a rollercoaster, but like any rollercoaster, at the end, you enjoy every bit of it.

I wouldn't change anything that happened to me if it meant not having the feeling of being whole that I experience now with my family.

"What are you thinking about, mi amor?" Ace asks, nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck.

"Just how lucky I am." I reply with a smile. Ace flashes his dimple and pulls me into a kiss.

"You really are something special." He murmurs.

"You better believe it." I smirk.

"I love you, il mio piccolo gattina." (my little kitten) He whispers.

"I love you more."

The end.
