Ace P.O.V

3 months later...

"Listen up, kiddos. I love you two very much, but we have a slight issue. It seems that I am due in two weeks, but you two can't sit still. So, please, stop kicking me! It hurts, and I'm moody." I hear Sofie scold when I enter the kitchen.

"Kitten?" I ask and she looks up.

"Would you mind telling your kids to stop kicking me?" She huffs, making me smile at how adorable she is. She really is a kitten, trying to be a tiger.

I crouch down in front of her and place both my hands on her belly. I gently kiss it and then rest my forehead against her very swollen bump. "You two giving your mom trouble?" I ask, smiling at the term.

Sofie is due in two weeks and she can't wait to not be pregnant anymore. I, personally, love seeing her waddle around the house and rely on me to do things, but on the other hand, I can't wait to meet my babies.

"Come on sweets, I'll make lasagne for lunch." I say, pecking her lips.

"I love you." She says, making me smile.

"I love you more, sweets." I kiss her lips again before grabbing all the ingredients I need.

Sofie P.O.V

Ace has been working from home to keep me company at home while I'm bored out of my mind. We've finished the twin's nursery already and it looks really cool. I didn't want two separate nurseries, because I wanted them to bond.

I'm currently sitting in the living room, waiting for Emmy to come. Apparently, Bella wanted to hang out with me and I felt the same. I haven't seen my niece and nephew in on entire week! For me, that's like an entire year.

Dan and Brad weren't home, so I was really bored and I didn't want to interrupt Ace, even though he would leave everything just to make me a smoothie if I wanted one.

Getting bored and craving some Nutella and pickles, I stand to go to the kitchen, only to freeze when I feel wetness trickling down my bare thigh since I was wearing a dress. Oh chicken nuggets! My water just broke.

"Okay, just be calm." I tell myself, taking out my phone and dialling Emmy's number.

"Sof?" She answers.

"Emmalin." I say calmly. "Unfortunately, we will have to postpone our scheduled meeting, because I will require your presence in the hospital. My water has broken." I don't know why I'm being so formal, but I am.

"What?! Your water broke?! Nick! Get the kids, we're going to the hospital!" She shouts. I groan as the first contraction hits me, and I hang up the call.

I make my way to the third floor in a hurry and open Ace's door.

"Hey kitten. What did I say about going up the stairs? I could have carried you." He says, getting up from his chair and stretching his muscles. I take a moment to admire the way the muscles in his biceps bulge with the action. Not the time Sofia!

"Um, so I'm going to tell you something and I need you to be calm about the situation, okay?" His eyebrows scrunch up in confusion and concern, but he still nods slowly.

"My water broke, so we need to get to the hospit- Aargh!" I groan, another contraction hitting me in full force. Ace is by my side in a second, holding my hand as I sit on the chair.

"Um okay, you're water just broke! I don't know what to do!" I roll my eyes and release his hand.

"You need to grab the bag we packed and get me to the hospital." I instruct. He nods and scoops me up, grabbing the bag and placing me in the car.
