Sofie P.O.V

"Sofie, sweets, calm down." Ace says, massaging my shoulders. Let me fill you in on what happened when we got here.

"Ah, Mr and Mrs Adornetto." The lady greets. "My name is Dr Greene." She says, handling a scary looking machine and instructing me to pull up my top, which Ace did for me, because he didn't want me to tire myself. I seriously need to have a chat about his protectiveness.

"Okay, so this will be cold." She warns, before squirting a gel onto my stomach.

"Oh my apple crumble, that's cold." I shriek, apple crumble sounds so good right now.

"Give her a warmer gel." Ace demands, but I grab his arm.

"Relax Captain America, it's protocol, and I'd like to see our baby thank you very much." I say, gesturing for the doctor to continue.

She smiles and rub a machine thingy over the gel. That's when a heartbeat fills the room. My eyes fill with tears and I smile. Every beat has a sort of echo, so I guess their machinery is kind of old.

"I'd say you're about nearly four months in already. And don't worry, your babies are perfectly healthy." I smile and nod. She wipes off the gel and I sit up. "I can already tell the genders if you want to know."

I look up at Ace and the furrow my brows. Did she say babies?

"Um, excuse me, did you say babies?" Ace realises this too and his eyes snap up.

"I was waiting for you to notice that. Congratulations! You're having twins!" My jaw drops.

"Twins? Like one baby comes out and then another one comes out?" The doctor chuckles but nods her head.

"Yes, meaning you're eating for three now. Remember to follow your cravings." Twins. I'm having twins. Two children. Oh cookies.

I begin breathing heavily and that is how we got here. Ace trying to calm me down. eventually, he kneels down in front of me and grabs my hands into his large ones.

"Sofie, listen to what I'm saying. You visit Arabella and Alessandro so often. Whenever you babysit, you play with both of them at the same time, even though they want to do different things." He looks directly into my eyes, showing nothing but sincerity. "We can do this. You're not alone in any of this." I hug him and Dr Greene aww's at our little exchange.

"Hey doc?" I ask, and she looks up from her clipboard. "When my sister was four months, she was already kind of showing, so shouldn't I be showing because I'm like double?"

"Well, you are a dancer, correct?" I nod. "Well, your stomach muscles and abs are extremely fit, and so it may take longer, but you might have noticed it is more squishy. Don't worry, it should pop out in the next few weeks." Ace rubs my stomach with care. Our babies are in there.

"Would you like to know what you're having?" I nod. "Well, you'll be having a girl and a boy."

"Ace, I'm leaving now." I say, shaking him awake.

"Oh, okay, just please be safe?" I nod and quickly peck his lips before leaving. Today I'm going to tell Antonio that I'm pregnant. Emmy and Nick are the only ones who know for now. It's pretty early, and the boys should be back in a couple of minutes from their super bowl trip.

"Sis!" Dan shouts hugging me. Brad does the same with way too much energy for six in the morning. Wait till the jet lag hits them.

"So, what did we miss?" Brad asks. I had gotten him five tickets, so he took Dan and his band.
