"Munhee wake up!" Mom shook my body hard, and brought me back to the reality where fairytales don't exist. There goes my dream of marrying Ji Chang Wook.
I groaned, as I rubbed my eyes and peeled them open, with the sunlight directly hitting my eyes, first thing in the morning. As much fantastic as it would sound, it was not. I glanced at the clock and realized that it was only 7 in the morning, which was far too early to wake up on a day when I had no work.
"Mom it's just 7 on a Saturday morning- why the hell did you wake me up?" I asked as I rolled a little on my comfortable bed.
"Exactly, it's 7. Get up and help Sungho clean around the house." I furrowed my eyebrows, with my eyes half open.
"Mom! You know that he never cleans up, he uses the cleaning day as an excuse so that you'd wake me up!" Mom huffed at this and pulled the blanket off my body.
"Whatever. I don't care as long as the house is clean. Just look at your brother and yourself. Do you see him complaining when I ask him to help? No. Go and have a look, he's diligently doing the work." She tsked as she folded the blanket.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, slightly annoyed at the moment.
"Just what you want to take. Now get up. You've slept enough." She said carelessly.
"Aish, okay." I ruffled my hair and climbed off my bed. I sometimes think waking people up this early in the morning should be illegal.
I stumbled into the washroom and cleaned myself up. I picked out some faded clothes, since it was just a cleaning day and I had absolutely no plans of going out.
"Up so early, Princess? I thought I would have to clean up the house alone, again." Sungho showed his fake concern about the 'cleanliness'.
"Why don't you shut that mouth of yours and mind your own business? Since I know that cleaning isn't a part of it, I suggest you to not tick me off." He devilishly laughed before grabbing his phone from the table and walking towards the corner of the living room to have a seat. Of course, what else did I even expect?
About a few hours later when I was done cleaning, I went to Sungho's room, to find him sprawled across his bed, bobbing his head to the beat of some music that he was listening to on his headphone. I walked towards his bed, and of course without him noticing.
I pulled out one of the earpieces and shouted, "Why don't you pay me for cleaning up on your behalf too?" He was visibly shaken, as he turned around to face me.
"What's wrong with you? Trying to kill a boy, huh?" I smirked.
"No brother, how can I kill such an angel like you?" He scoffed before dedicating his attention back to his phone. I peeked, and noticed that he wasn't listening to music, it was some website that was displayed on his phone.
"What are you doing on your phone, I thought you were listening to music?" He blinked hard before getting up in a sitting position and facing me.
"And why does that concern you? Stop peeping into people's phones!"
"Tell me nah!" I shook him hard by his shoulders. He let out a deep sigh, and gave up like always before taking off his headphones.
"Okay look. I didn't want to tell you this, but I guess I can't escape your bickering. This is..." He lowered his voice and I furrowed my eyebrows to focus on what he was saying, noticing that he was saying that it was something serious.
"...A website from which I'm hiring 15-16 men to come and assassinate you." I hit him on his arm and he groaned in response.
"You want me to call Yoongi and his men for you?" I teased, knowing that he was afraid of Yoongi because of the little history they had.
Yoongi and Sungho were the same age, they used to be good friends as well. Until Hyerin came along, Yoongi's bitch of a girlfriend. I was happy for my best friend, considering the fact that he was willing to give love a chance, but Sungho had to ruin everything for him, at least what seemed like Yoongi's turn in love.
I didn't know that Sungho was secretly meeting Yoongi's girlfriend behind his back, and it was obviously more than that. It was kept under the sheets, until one day when Yoongi discovered a picture of Sungho and Hyerin kissing in her phone under a secret album.
I remember the day well, when Sungho came home with a busted lip and bruised cheekbones. He was limping as well with his clothes carrying all the world's dust. I tried to ask him, but he brushed me off. But you know, he eventually told me everything and even asked me to apologise to Yoongi on his behalf, but I absolutely said that I won't do that. Why should I? You cheated on your friend, you deserve a good beating.
"Yah! Where do you zone out to? And why do you bring Yoongi in every conversation?" He mumbled cutely. I laughed as I ruffled his hair and left his room.

"Mom! Dad! And... you." He turned to me and made a disgusted face, as I mimicked him before I took a spoonful of rice in my mouth.
"Yes, son?" Dad asked Sungho.
"You remember the website I was developing to trace online hackers?" We simply nodded, remembering the thousands of nights when he'd stayed awake to work on that said website.
As much as I said that hated being compared to him, there's no denying the fact that he worked much harder than I could ever do. A tad bit of jealousy was there in me, but I assume it wouldn't have been if I was just left alone to live my own life in peace instead of having to hear his great accomplishments from Mom and Dad.
"I finally found an investor who's willing to do so!" He shrieked in a teenager's voice, and our eyes widened. I was genuinely happy for him.
"I can't wait to meet the legal investor! And you know what the best part is? I even have the location of a criminal hacker to show the investor!" He stood up and did a five seconds dance before he sat down and continued dinner. This made me chuckle.
"Well son, I'm proud of you. So much. And Munhee, are you even considering working in a better place than a café?" At this, I felt those three pairs of eyes on me. Sungho with a mocking expression, Mom with a concerned expression and Dad with a neutral and strict one.
"Well..." I trailed off, because I had no plans of resigning from the café before I moved out of the house. And honestly, I was not obligated to tell anyone about my plans because it's my life.
But of course, invasion of privacy.
"Come on Munhee, you're 24 now. Why don't you get your life together? Just look at him." Dad pointed towards Sungho, and once again compared me to him. It hurt, especially because he was my genius brother and I was the clueless-about-life daughter. I wasn't exactly proud of myself, but day by day the comparisons sited between Sungho and me were growing intolerable. Dad kept mumbling about Sungho and how his majesty conquered the Everest.
"...I regret raising a waste of a child like you." He tsked, and that was the last straw for me. I abruptly got up and slammed my fists on the table, thus shaking the plates and startling them.
"That's it Dad! And if you guys did regret having me, then why didn't you give me up for adoption? And about your old age, hope that Sungho sticks around long enough with you guys, because I'm signing out!" I scowled before I took a napkin and walked out of the dining room.
