"Ok, just putting it out there."
___________________________I am holding his hands and stargazing, wondering if this is forever. When he tells me, bringing the wall up, all my insecurities crawling back in. Was this my real fear or was I imagining it? Did it really matter? everything felt black... could this emptiness inside me ever end, what if people got to know what kind of a person I am. I felt like giving up. Living like this was worthless, what was the meaning of my existence...
The party...red color...knives... roses...death...Bran...
My eyes flutter open. "Stupid dreams." I murmur to myself. Its six in morning, an unnatural thing, it's so difficult for me to get out of my bed on time. Reagan was still sleeping; I went outside in my pjs with a robe over it. I lean over the rail to get touched by the first rays of sun. I see someone lying on grass, Brandon. What was he doing here at this time? I walk down the stairs to the park. He looks back and smiles instantly, at least I am not intruding his personal time. I go and sit beside him.
"Hi, what are you doing here?" I say.
"The sun looks really pretty from here, and I got up early. So, I came here. What about you?"
"I had a nightmare, I had come to the hallway, I saw you here so came."
"Today, first day college, you excited."
"You kidding, I was born ready for this day." I say striking a pose.
"I never asked you what stream have you chose?"
"Journalism. What about you?"
"Oh, Kio too has chosen that. Me? Business on a basketball scholarship."
I chuckle. "Sorry the idea of you as a businessman is just vague."
"It would have been funny for me also a year ago."
"Why? Were you that muscular guy who used play basketball and your locker was filled with card on valentine and dated the top cheerleader?" I ask him laughing the whole time.
"Are you a psychic? That pretty much sums up my childhood? And dating the top cheerleader was a huge mistake."
"Really? I wouldn't have guessed." I say stating the obviousness.
"Enough about me. Tell me something about you."
"My childhood was no high school musical, I had a group of friends, a couple of boyfriends. Average in studies. Meh!"
We talked for some time, but it was all blurry, I constantly thought about my childhood, how I had blatantly lied to Brandon.

I was walking to class when someone came up to me and tapped on my shoulder. Kio. "Hi beautiful, walking to class?"
"I have to, no other better place to be at. And it is never going to work between us."
"You girls, I know, and I would never do that to my roommate."
"Ok just putting it out there." I said ignoring the other part of the sentence,
"You will love my cousin."
"And who would that be?" I ask him.
"Nicoletta Valencia."
"You are one hilarious boy. One week and I already hate her. You should too or we can't even be friends."
"I do, but I don't think Brandon does." he says in a tone where I can't tell if he is lying or stating facts.
"Why are you telling me this, I don't care." I say pouting.
"Ok, just putting it out there."

Classes were fine. For most of them I had Kio with me. Which was cool. At night Reagan and I went to the mall, just for window shopping. I mean I hadn't been there since I had come here. While coming back we decided to go the park for some time. It had been some time; we were sitting in front of the bushes when we heard someone calling our names. We turned back to see. I couldn't believe my eyes. What the hell. Gabriella.
"Hi, I am sorry if I scared you but I really need your help." she says with a low voice.
"I mean, yeah sure, why not, you are just like the main suspect in the investigation." I say trying not to sound rude.
"Please tell me you don't think I have done it. Why would I? Rose was a great person. And look at my face." she says.
"I think we should turn you in immediately. I knew you were a bad apple from the start." says Reagan.
Gabi does have a point but so does Reagan. "Reagan, I think we should at least hear her out. All that can go wrong is that she kills us. And why would she come back if she was guilty. By the way Gabi why did you run in the first place?"
"Whoever did this, knocked me down and when I woke up and I realized I was locked with a dead girl; people would obviously think I had done it. I panicked and climbed out of the window, and I didn't want to go the jail" she says. I don't know why but I felt she was being truthful.
