BRANDON

"This place is huge! Where do we start?" Vanessa exclaimed. It was really massive and so crowded. I had been to this bar a long time ago, but I had never entered the VIP area.

"Oh! So, this is why you wanted fake ids." a familiar voice said. I turned back to see who it was. Not her again! Elizabeth. Yeah, my ex-girlfriend.

"Actually yes! This was exactly why we needed the id. Now, excuse us." Vanessa snapped. Looks like Reagan was still in her body.

"Wait! But weren't you arrested!" I said remembering our last meet.

"I escaped. Do you have a problem with that?" she said walking away.

"How did you tolerate her?" Vanessa asked.

"Only god knows." I blurted out.

"I am not even sure about that!" he exclaimed.

We went on to find Kathleen. She was nowhere to be seen. We were about to give up when an old friend of mine 'Jackson' ran into us.

"Hey dude! What up?" he said.

"Nothing much, was here with my girlfriend." I said taking absolute pleasure in it. Vanessa gave me a cold stare but quickly changed it to a smile.

"Dude, she is hot!" he whispered and I nodded.

"Anyone here from the school?" I asked hoping he would tell us something about Kathleen.

"Yeah, a lot of them inside that room. I just came from there." he said gesturing towards a door.

"Oh! Can I meet them?" I asked.

"Of course. Your girlfriend can come too." He said looking at Vanessa in a way, let's just say, I did not like at all. Vanessa mouthed a thanks. The thing she did next. I did not see coming. She came near me and locked arms with me. Probably because she didn't either liked the way Jackson saw her. I may sound like a teen girl, but the butterflies were jumping in my stomach.

We walked into the room. Dude, this room was filthy, there was beer, hookah, sweat, and all the stuff I don't want to name. Vanessa was still holding my hands; she went all dizzy and lost her balance for second. I could choke on this smell so Vanessa would probably be having the worst experience.

"We could leave if you want?" I asked her. But she gestured a no by shaking her head.

There in the corner I saw Kathleen drinking shots. She looked like a mess. Her hair was all messed up. Her dress had been torn up from places. And her face was all sloppy. Six months back, she was nothing like this, she was the proper definition of a law-abiding girl.

"Vanessa, go out, I will talk to Kathleen." I told her and she nodded.

"Hi Kathleen! You remember me. Right?" I asked her.

"Ye-ah! You are my Ro-se's boy-friend. But you dead-died." she said not talking clearly.

"No, I am Brandon, his brother."

"Yeah- yea- I re-mem-ber! Do u know who killed rose?" she said with tears in her eyes.

"Not right now but do you know anything about who could have?"

"No-no-no-no-no, she was very sweet girl. Everyone loved her. This is probably someone new. Her dad, the mayor, loved her so much, if he comes to know who did it, he will kill him with his own hands. You know he has put the best detectives on the case." she said now all awake, drunk but awake.

"I am aware of that, anyone else you can remember who knows a little more about Rose?"

"Her brother, her ex-boyfriend maybe! Ask her dad. Yeah, ask her dad. Don't forget to ask her dad." she said excited or at least a little pumped up.

"Ok thanks!" I said leaving. I was stopped again by Elizabeth, dude how does she end up everywhere.

"Now what you want?" I asked her irritated.

"Nothing!" she snapped.

"Okay then I am leaving." I said as I opened the door.

I bumped into a guy.
