It was late, very late when Luna told Harry she had to go home. She couldn't leave her brother alone at her flat and Harry couldn't let her go back to her flat alone. After accompanying her all the way there, Luna ended up asking him to stay. Of course, she couldn't sleep next to him since she was already sharing a bed with her brother. So Harry slept on the couch. He had blankets and pillows. He was comfortable. Besides, it's not the first time he's slept on the same couch. It used to belong to him and Zavier after all.
"Harry? You're here! Morning, bro," Zavier says as he gives Harry's beautiful head of curls a ruffle.
Harry opens his eyes and groans as he sees his mate looking down at him. "I was having a good dream," Harry mumbles. He then sits up and he lets himself stretch.
"What about?"
He grins to himself as he thinks back to his dream. Luna. It's always about her. She constantly lives inside of his dreams, it seems like.
"Oh, you don't have to tell me... I can tell from your cheeky grin," his mate says. "Did you guys talk?"
"Luna and I? Yeah... She told me everything," he says and suddenly his grin fades. The thought of her having to live with such a scary disease makes him sad. "She finally opened up to me."
"That's so good to hear, Harry."
They both fall silent for a moment. Harry then remembers the highlight of his night. He's smiling again. "We said 'I love you' for the first time."
"Well, you already said it, remember?" Zavier is smiling. He laughs and then opens his arms for Harry. "Don't sit there! Give your mate a hug. I'm happy for you, H."
Harry laughs then gets up from the couch. The blanket slips down to the floor as he's hugging Zavier back tight. He's always loved his hugs. "Thank you, Z."
"Hey, I'd love to be in the middle of that sandwich."
Harry and Zavier both look over and find Luna coming from the hallway. They pull away from their brotherly embrace. Harry laughs. "Then come over here," he invites.
Luna smiles wide as she jogs over to them. She's still in pajamas and cherries are printed all over her pants. She wraps her arms around Harry's waist, facing him before she's squished. "Uh, why are we hugging so early in the morning?"
Zavier laughs as he's hugging them both tightly. "Because... my best friends are in love! I knew it. I knew it from the moment I found out you guys were hooking up that we'd end up here. I hoped, at least."
Harry's grinning. He looks down at Luna and they exchange looks through what Zavier had been saying. They laugh before the sandwich hug falls apart.
"You consider me your best friend?" Luna then turns to look at Zavier. She's smiling wide at him.
"Of course, Lulu! We see each other every day. We know each other so much better now and you're the best roommate I've ever had," he's telling her and suddenly they're sharing a hug together.
"Hey!" Harry is quick to say. He doesn't mind that they're hugging. He admires it actually. It makes him smile, but the fact that he said Luna was the best roommate he's ever had... it was absurd. "Are you kidding me? I was your flatmate for over three years and she's the best?"
Luna is laughing. She parts from her hug with Zavier. She then reaches to touch Harry's cheek. "I'm the best." She leans up to give him a kiss on his cheek. She then looks at Zavier again. "And, hey! What did I say about calling me Lulu?" She point her finger at him while she backs away from the pair. She giggles and turns to step into the kitchen.
