Welcomed Change

As they finally decide to walk back to the dorms, their hands intertwined, they see from the windows the rest of the class still in the common area.

"We should tell them" whispers Izuku quietly.

"Yeah. But I'll beat the shit out of whoever makes an homophobe comment."

Katsuki's answer is spoken in a bold tone, and Izuku's immediately sweatdrops.

'Guess I will have to be the one who keeps him in check if we don't want to risk a murder, tonight...'

"Kacchan, I think they will be supporting. I mean, they did pretty well with all the facts of me transforming into a dragon, today, after all. Plus, Uraraka, Iida and Todoroki already know for example that I am gay. And I suppose you told to your friends too, I think-"

"Deku. Muttering."

"Hehehe, sorry that I was muttering again...", Izuku smiles sheepishly, rubbing his neck with his free hand.

"Just don't start the whole thing like today again, I think I am not prepared to get in yet another dreamwalk..." Katsuki adds, half-serious and half-joking.

He knows some friends like Kirishima or Kaminari supports him. They even know about his feelings for Izuku. Not that he told them. They simply caught him staring in a too obvious way, too many times, at the class resident sunshine. Embarrassing moments...

Katsuki is already preparing himself mentally to scold anyone who could object their relationship, but, as they reach the doors and open them, hand in hand, they are met with big smiles and some VERY EMBARRASSING shouts of support from Kirishima and Kaminari, "Way to go, Bakubro!", being the most... shy of those.

'I'm going to get a fucking headache... Am I?' Katsuki half frowns. He should have known this was coming... But he can't deny he feels somehow relieved.

"Don't call me like that, shitty hair!" Katsuki shouts as expected, but no irritation or rage are in his sentence.

"Man, look at them! And to think I was envious of Midoriya because of that hot girl during the provisional licence exam... No wonder he wasn't interested! Oh well, more possibilities for me!" Sero, apparently the happiest person to have such cool gay friends.

Turns out someone took pictures of the two embraced under the tree.

Guess who?

"Omg, you two were so cuuute! I couldn't hold myself back, look at these pictures!!", Uraraka squeals, fangirling with the smartphone Iida let her borrow.

Yeah, she had a crush on Izuku...

But the night after the "little kerfuffle" at the game battle, she confessed to him, getting a very polite and timid no by a very flustered Izuku, who told her to be sorry of being gay, because she's such a nice and supportive friend and he's sure she-

And he got no time to finish his rumble because at the very moment she was tearing up but heard him asking forgiveness for what he is, she instantly out of instinct turned into "your nice ally friend" and told him very seriously he should never be sorry about that.

At which nice expression of affection he teared up (bet you weren't expecting that, right?) and offered her comfort after the rejection he gave her, in the form of eating a ton of ice cream and watching some comedy movie together as a good supportive friend.

Initial embarrassment aside, they were good after that.

With a tiny little bit sugar rush for about 2 days, but good (telling Iida and Todoroki that he is gay seemed an obvious step after that).
