A dragon-bond

The following day, Mistarin wakes up at dawn and goes straight to Aizawa in the teacher's room as soon as he arrives there.

"Eraserhead. We need to adjourn regarding the bond between Idekus and the young Bagugou."

Aizawa stares at her for about 10 seconds, in utter silence.

'The what now?'

He is not sure if he has had enough coffee today. This must be a dream. Or maybe, a nightmare would be a more fitting term for it.

A bond between the two overpowered problem children?

Ugh... 'Why do I have to be their teacher? Oh, right. I chose to. Congratulations Shouta.'

He had noticed of course that they were on really friendly terms lately, compared to the beginnings of the year, that for sure.

But what's this bond she's talking about?

'This woman arrived yesterday and already seems to know more than me. It's irritating and illogical that she knows more about my students than me.'

"It is normal that you don't understand what I am talking about."

'I'll be damned if she can't read thoughts', he thinks, looking at her deadpanned but attentively.

"What do you mean?"

"This bond that I am talking about is a thing of my world. It's called dragon-bond, to translate it decently, and it's established usually after a long period of training together and only in case of unconditional trust between a green dragon and another living being. In my world, it's usually a night elf, also because of ours and the dragons' long lives and our common purposes.

Idekus and Bakugou, however, were able to spontaneously establish it as they were very but little children."

Aizawa's eyes go wide in disbelief for the second time in two days.

'Looks like she's developing a habit of leaving me dumbfounded.'

"Unconditional trust? Well, they get along better now, but I doubt they trust each other that much."

She looks at him a little perplexed. "Are you aware that they have known each other since they were just babies?"

"Of course. But since no longer than 3-4 months ago, Bakugou had a real problem staying even in the same room with Midoriya and not exploding. That's why this... bond sounds so unbelievable to me."

"I am well aware of the complications that occurred between the two in the past. Idekus showed them to me yesterday. But no matter the issues, they always trusted each other, and the bond has therefore never faded away."

"I... see. That is... quite unexpected to say the least, but I wasn't aware of all these informations, although I had suspected that there were deeper motivations behind Bakugou's and Midoriya's behaviour towards each other."

"You are a very perceptive teacher indeed. But as you said, you lacked informations.

I am here to provide them. And we will explain the bond to the other students too. This can't be avoided, because the bond will be a great help during the upcoming battles."

Aizawa shoots up from his seat rather nervously.

"What? What do you know about it? How does Midoriya know?"

"Eraserhead. it surprises me that you couldn't see it before. The young dragon is very perceptive and after seeing the memories of his training with the hero called Endeavor, I have put the pieces together. Sadly, if there's something I am used to foresee, it is the preparations for a war."
