The fire was now reaching the top of the trees. It gave the surroundings an eerie, dim lighting. The demons were dancing around the fire, screeching and laughing as they pointed at their prisoner. It was an elf. His silver hair had gotten dirty, it was sticking to his face and neck, due to the blood that was everywhere. His green eyes were looking everywhere, panicking as he couldn't control any of the plants around him. His hands were bound to two trees, stretching out his arms painfully. Yet he was still forced on his knees. His flawless and clean face was gone, there was blood everywhere. She recognized the green eyes. It was Alas.

Some of the demons danced around him teasingly, scratching his skin or biting him, creating more wounds and letting blood dripping down. He screamed in pain once his veins started blackening, trying to rip himself free from the ropes. He glared at the wizard, who was staring at him without any remorse on his face. In fact, without any expression at all.

The person behind the curtain gestured him to come closer, so he did. They whispered something in his ear, and he nodded briskly. The hawk on his shoulder squawked and flew off. All the demons fell silent and froze once he moved. But when he replaced his spear with a dagger, they started screaming again, almost as if they were encouraging the wizard. He walked up to Alas, who glared at him from his position.

'Your time has come.', the wizard spoke. 'You will be added to the greatest and most powerful army of our world!', He spread his arm and looked up at the sky, a mad smile on his face. The cheers from the demons got louder and louder. 'You are blessed.',

'Blessed to see that smile get wiped of your face!', hissed Alas. He spat in the wizard's face, a spot of blood on his black, veiny skin. 'I won't ever join your army. We elves won't join the war between the bastards and the witches!', the man tilted his head.

'Oh, how cute. You think you have a choice?', the wizard asked. 'The youngest and only son of the most powerful elf kingdom joined us... Yes... that is unbelievable. You are blessed to be with us.', He walked around, so he was facing Alas' back.

The demons fell silent once again, watching him as he stood there. He raised the dagger up high above him and they all started screaming again. The brought the dagger down, cutting into Alas' back.

A bloodcurdling scream awoke the villagers that day, as Alas' skin got ripped off his back. There were tears streaming down his face, his back was bleeding heavily. The demons were screaming madly as the wizard threw the skin toward them. He raised the knife once again, his face and the knife itself covered in blood. He had a smile on his face that reached both of his lips.

'You are blessed.',

Before the knife could touch Alas' back, it got shot out of his hands by a perfectly aimed shot of Syvis Moran. She rode on a moose's back, and yet she aimed perfectly. The whole army of elves appeared, screaming as they raised up their weapons to eliminate the demons who had dared to harm once of the royal children.

Syvis paid no mind to the demons. She jumped off the moose's back and grabbed her sword, walking toward the wizard with flaring green eyes, gone was her dreamy look. She looked murderous. The man was smirking once again, spreading his arms wide open.

'Dying at the hand of Syvis Moran.', he spoke breathlessly. 'How honored I am.',

He fell down on his knees, still smirking and arms spread. Syvis raised up her sword and brough it down with a scream, piercing the man's chest. He fell backwards, the smile still lingering.

Syvis turned to look at the throne, were they were still sitting. She ran off the hill, as other elves turned to her brother. She sprinted toward the throne, decapitating a few demons on her way, and grabbed the curtain to see which monster was behind all of this. In a twirl of black smoke, it raised up into the sky, and when Syvis opened it, there was no one to be seen. She looked up at the smoke which was disappearing into the sky.
