They walked further, only Raven couldn't get one word out of the two elves. They just waked with slightly worried faces over their self-made path and accompanied Raven to Loona Queen.
Raven started paying attention to the salamander around her neck - according to Syvis and Alas, a demon.'You aren't as scary as I thought.', Raven muttered as she stroked the demon, who's now laying on her arm, pressed against her stomach. The demon purred. Raven chuckled.
'Have you given him a name?',
Raven looked up. Syvis and Alas had stopped walking.'Not yet.', Raven said. The demon climbed up Raven's arm and wrapped itself around her neck again. He was warm, she didn't mind much, and it really made up for the leatherish feeling against her skin.
'I was thinking to name her that associates with red. Because of her skin-''Have you thought about naming him that means fire?', Alas asked. 'Because first; he is definitely a male. Second; I think it's a fire demon.'
'If Alas says it is a fire demon, then you can be sure it is.', Syvis said. 'He is a demon expert. But I do think it's a female.'
'Oh, Females are annoying.', Alas sighed, his voice still dreamy as he rolled his eyes. 'You are a living example.'
Syvis glared.'We hope to hear great things of you, little Raven Ashfury.', Syvis spoke as she looked back at Raven. 'Just over this hill; you will find a village. Loona Queen lives there, I promise, you will know where to find her.'
Syvis pointed at the hill behind her.
'Before you go; We have a small gift for you.'
They both look to the side, another elf walked towards the two. He had a cloak in his hand, and he was carrying it like it was something special. Alas took the cloak from the elf and bowed his head to thank him.
'This is an elf made cloak.', Syvis explained to the girl. 'It means that it will hide you whenever you don't want to be seen, and it will only work by their owner.'
Raven looked at the cloak. It was a black cloak, where there should be a button to hold it together, there was a stone. It was still black. It looked like the cloak of Alas and Syvis. The only difference they had, that Syvis' stone was blue and Alas' stone was yellow.
'I'm warning you, little witch, what you will now be possessing, is of great value. You won't get another one.''I understand that.', Raven said quickly. 'I am very grateful that you are giving me this.'
Syvis smiled. Alas held the cloak in front of her.'May I?'
'Oh, of course.'
Alas swung the cloak around her and secured it with the stone. When the stone made contact with her skin, it started to glow. The stone felt cold against her skin, but then it flowed a color. It became red and right after it became red, the stone became a ruby and felt much warmer against her skin.
'We must leave now, little Raven Ashfury.', Syvis said. 'I hope we meet again, although I am not supposed to.'
'We wish you good luck.', Alas said.
They both walked past Raven, the other elf following.'Hold up, what-'
But when Raven turned around to look at the elves, they were gone. Raven looked around, but even the trees and bushes were standing in their usual places. Raven stared for a few more moments, but then shook her head and walked up the hill. She had to grab the earth with her hands, due to the steepness of the hill. When she arrived at the top, the sun shined bright in her face. She blinked a few times, startled by the bright lights. She looked around.A small village stood just underneath the hill. Raven smiled. She walked down the hill quickly - and very carefully. Once down the hill, she took the hood of the cloak and pulled it over her head. The demon around her neck hid in the dark of it. She walked into the village.
It was a nice village. There were a lot of people walking around and talking. There were quite a lot of houses and also a lot of stores. Raven looked around, not knowing where to look for Loona.
'You, little girl! Do you want to buy some potion ingredients?', a man approached her and showed Raven a few disgusting looking things in his hand.
'Eh- no thank you.', she said politely.
'Maybe a necklace?!', now a woman approached her and showed her a few different necklaces, all hanging on one of her fingers.
'It would look great on you.''N-no, thanks. I'm good.', Raven smiled at the woman and continued her way.
'Miss! Maybe some fruit?'
'What would you think of this?'
'Okay, let's stop.'
All the sellers walked away when someone wrapped an arm around Raven's shoulder.
'Let's give this girl some space. All go! Back off.''Stupid wolves...', Raven heard someone mumble.
The person growled softly.'I'm sorry for that.', the person spoke.
Raven looked at him.
It was a boy, maybe her age, a bit older. He had dark skin, dark eyes and black, curly hair, some of his locks were red.
'They can be very annoying sometimes.'
He unwrapped his arm from Raven and looked at her. Raven stopped walking and looked to the boy.
'I am Rodyn from the Darkmane pack. It's a pleasure to meet you.'
Then he bowed for her, a deep bow compared what the elves had done to her.'Please don't bow to me.', Raven said quickly. 'It's awkward.'
Rodyn chuckled and looked at Raven.'Sadly, we werewolves have to bow towards witches and wizards. We are not considered as equals.', He told Raven.
'That is crazy!', Raven said instantly. 'I am Raven.'
She shook Rodyn's hand. His eyes widened slightly, and he looked quickly around to all the other villagers around them'I-it's nice to meet you, miss Raven.',
'It's just Raven.', she demanded, and she smiled at him. Rodyn smiled back. 'If you know, do you have any idea where I can find Loona Queen, I really need to speak to her.'
'Ah, Loona Queen.', Rodyn smiles brightly. 'She is amazing. She made sure that we as werewolves are also allowed to live in this village. Not that everyone was very pleased with that.'
He scratched the back of his head awkwardly and looked around. Raven also looked. A few villagers threw disgusted looks at Rodyn.
'But I do know where to find her.', he finished the answer. 'Follow me.'Rodyn walked in front of Raven over the street. Raven followed happily. The stores all looked very nice and they all sold things Raven never heard of. Well, a few things she knew about.
'She is always here.',
Rodyn pointed towards a small store. Raven looked at it. It was simply called, "bookstore" but it looked very nice.'Thank you for bringing me here.', Raven said, turning to the elder boy. 'Will I be seeing you around?'
'If you don't mind having a werewolf around you.', Rodyn said awkwardly. 'Which isn't people's first choice.'
'Well, then you're my first choice.', Raven said. She stuck out her hand, waiting for Rodyn to accept it. He looked a bit confused and raised his hand hesitantly – not used to this kind of behavior from a witch. Raven took his hand and shook it. 'Thank you for bringing me here, sir Rodyn.', she said in a polished voice. Rodyn chuckled and straightened up.
'It was a pleasure, lady Raven.', he said on the same tone. 'Have a nice day.' He bowed deep, making weird twirling hand motions as he did so. 'And we will be seeing each other.'
'We certainly will.', Raven said with a big smile. They laughed. 'See you, Rodyn.', she said as she walked into the store. Rodyn smiled brightly. He turned around happily and made his way to go back home, excited to tell his mother about the sweet, witch girl who didn't mind him being a werewolf.
