*Kimberly (Evergreen) POV*
"Evergreen, may I speak with you for a moment?" Director Fury asked. I nodded and he lead me inside his office.

"I have gotten reports around the city of something weird happening at Oscorp Tower since the explosion. Take Cedar and see what you can find out." He told me.

"Oh, and do me a favor." He said, before I could open the door. I walked back into the center of the room. "Keep an eye on Samantha Hawthorn. I still think she's up to something." He said. I nodded.

I walked to the cafeteria and called for Cedar. He was nowhere to be found! I sighed. "Looking for someone?" I jumped and turned around.

All the tables were empty except for one. Black Widow was sitting at it, eating some breakfast. I sat down quickly. "Yeah, I'm looking for Cedar. I don't know if you'd know where he is?" I asked.

She thought for a minute. "You mean the tiger guy, right?" She asked. I nodded, "yes, the tiger guy." "I saw him in here about 30 minutes ago. But he mentioned going on deck for something." She told me.

"Thank you!" I said before rushing off. I quickly ran to my bunk and changed into my suit. I walked toward the elevator and threw the switch. It was a huge circle with the shield logo.

I waited patiently, tapping my foot, for it to reach the deck of the Helicarrier. When it finally reached the deck, I ran outside and found Cedar helping put up some boxes. "Hey, Director Fury needs you to come with me to Oscorp." I said, he nodded, putting up one last box.

"Let's go." He smiled. He had an unusual accent that switched from French to country and back again. We walked to the launching dock. "I need a parachute." He told me. He ran off to get one. He wore a black jumpsuit with red stripes. He came back with one slung on his back.

I jumped off and went in a pencil dive position. I slowed myself down and when we reached Central Park, I grabbed some trees with my vines and slowed myself down. Cedar landed next to me and statshed the parachute behind a tree. "I wonder how we don't wack people in the heads when we land?" He asked me with a chuckle. "I really have no idea." I said laughing.

I whistled for my board and caught it with my hand. "Hop on! It'll hold both of us." I smiled. "Okay." He held onto my waist with his claws retracted. He practically had claws like Wolverine. I flew toward Oscorp and landed on the front outside. Crews had recently started to try and repare the building. "I don't know exactly what to expect here, so be on your guard." I warned him.

"I will be, Madame." He said, his French accent strong. "Good." I said. We walked through the front doors and I looked around, nervously. I heard an unusual sound, it was a rasping noise. "Who's there?" I called. "Geez, I feel like I'm in a cliché horror story. What is this?" I laughed quietly. Cedar sniffed. "Zhere is a man in here." He said quickly.

"I noticed the scent, just now, while I was laughing at your joke." He lead me over to some filing cabinets that were thrown into the corner, probably from the explosion. "Help me move them." He said. I focused my mind onto my hands and saw my vines pop out of my skin. I lifted up the filing cabinets and we moved them until there was a space left. A man was laying underneath them!

"My leg was pinned. Thank you." He whispered. I helped him up and limp toward the bench near the door. "Can you call an ambulance?" I asked Cedar. He tilted his head and then nodded. Down the hallway was a small desk area. He picked up the phone and looked at me. "No working, madame." He said, hanging it back up. "You don't have to call me that." I said.

"Fine, petite plante" He responded, coming back to my side. "Little what?" I asked, completely confused. I had never taken French. "Little plant. Okay, what do we do now?" I tossed him my phone, I had forgotten that I put it in my pocket before we left. "Here you go, big tiger man." I snapped back. He smirked and called an ambulance.

I continued down the hallway, past the reception desk and into the elevator. I figured that I could wait for Cedar when he was done, on the next floor. The elevator doors opened and I carefully stuck my head out. There was not a soul to be seen. You would think after the basement and top floor exploded that there would be nothing left. I continued to walk carefully down the hallways, looking back in forth. This seemed to be a floor full of offices.

I glanced right and left without seeing anything. The whole floor was full of shiny, silver desks with test tubes and important looking glass vials that were now shattered on the floor. Hope those aren't dangerous to a plant....

I passed through the room, making sure there wasn't anyone in there. I walked back to the elevator and realized I hadn't heard from Cedar yet.

I walked over and pushed the button, going back down. The elevator shook and the lights went out! "That is not good!" I said, feeling alarmed. I looked up and saw a pannel. I felt the elevator shake and it started to drop! I opened the ceiling pannel by pushing it and wrapped my vines around something on the top.

I hopped out and whistled as loud as I could to my glider. When it didn't come, I shot my vines at the rails on the side. I caught myself as the elevator crashed to the floor. "That's just perfect." I griped. I used my vines to wrap around the bars on the sides of the elevator. I swung up and hung from the rail. I saw an indent where there would be a door. I swung up to it, hoping my vines would hold.

It wouldn't open! "C'mon!" I yelled anxiously. Isn't the top floor different? But that means I'll have to climb like 66 floors! I decided to drop down, to see if I could make something of the elevator. I finally reached it and sifted through the rubble. It was now completely dark in the shaft, the lights were broken down here. I began to panic and looked down, my vines were glowing green!

"What the..?"I asked, totally confused. I was thankful for it and began looking for something. I found a huge piece of curved metal, that I think came off what held the buttons. I grabbed it, it was almost the size of a crowbar. "Perfect." I said happily. I climbed up with my vines and reached where there was a door. I hung with vines out of my back and worked with my hands to pry it open.

Finally, with one last push, it popped open! I sighed in relief and dropped the metal. I climbed through the door and onto the floor. I had no clue what floor I was on. It seemed to be a gigantic lab! I looked around and saw parts of robots laying all over the ground. I began to creep through the lab, hoping there wasn't anything in there.

Without warning, something launched at my face! I jumped back and tried to pry it off. It was a weird, black robot spider! "Hey! Down boy!" I snarled, throwing it off me. I whistled and my glider flew through the window in the side of the lab. I hopped onto it and soared through the same hole. I heard a few people in the streets yelling but ignored them. I flew to the front doors and Cedar was laying on the ground.

I looked at my watch and called Director Fury. "We can't tackle this on our..what was that?" I asked, alarmed. I looked behind me and saw a weird, black, goopy creature. "Stay on the line!" Director Fury yelled. I realized with dread as I saw vines come out of its back that I had just met Venom.
