On one common rainy day,
Little Joy looked up and prayed,
"Wish it could rain candies and waffle,
Would be better if you add to it some truffle."
Up above on the grey overcast,
Mr. cloud chuckled and picked up his flask.
He summoned the various winds for flavours,
And sprinkled seven hues of rainbow colours.
He moved the flask round and round,
Before sprinkling the potion on grey clouds.
And when he ordered,
The grey clouds thundered.
Pit-a-pat, pit-a-pat, on the land,
Something hit little Joy, on his head.
With wide eyes, he picked a piece,
Licked it slowly and then he shrieked.
"Here's candy, here's waffle,
And Oh! look there, is it some truffle?!"
Little Joy pranced and danced,
Picking up the sweets as much as he wished.
He stuffed his mouth and filled his pockets,
Before collecting more and filling a bucket.
Smiling, he looked up again,
"Thank you for showering this special rain!"
(This piece is based on the prompt of 'unusual rain- if it rains something other than water.')
