Dew Drops

Sluggish snail slides,

On green grass blades,

To reach the dew drops,

On those edges, that lay.

Grasshopper hops,

On the tree tops,

Irking the sleepy leaves,

Dew drops sitting on twigs.

Up on the gravelly grounds,

Deep in the black burrows,

Chirp, chirp, cricket chirps,

Singing to the sounds of dew that drips.

Dark night rolls,

The delicate dew drops.

Storing those,

In the velvety petals of blooms.

Dew drops,

The nacreous nectar of eventide,

An offering for its beloved,

Aurora – the keeper of daylight.

Sun shines slivers of gold

Delicate dew drops disappear in their hold,

And as the two lovers embrace

Its time for them to say goodbye.
