Days turn to hours, hours to minutes and minutes to seconds. The past few days seem to have just flown by like nothing.

While Alfred continued his journey across the kingdom to make himself known as the new king and maybe find the new queen. His anxiety of not being able to find the queen in time grew more and more, since he has not found her yet.

Arthur on the other hand focussed on practicing magic and put all his heart in it. While he did master the power of nature before, he now also learned the power to heal. He realized his magical friends he has been talking to—which everyone tells him are imaginary friends—are the spirits of the forest calling out to him. Everything seems to be going good for him these days, till...

(Arthur's POV)

Making my way through town with a basket full of groceries in my hands—since I'm on shopping duty today—I once again speed walk towards the forest. This time making sure to not bump into anyone.

My hopes of making it home without any unpleasant encounters are quickly crushed by someone pulling me into an alleyway. I yelp but quickly become quiet as I see the man who pulled me in is the same man I bumped into the other day. Fear rushes through my body after this realization.

An evil smirk spreads across his lips as he recognises me. As I notice this I quickly try to run away but the man stops me and pins me to the wall. Wow...what a déjà-vu, not a pleasant one though and again with the skin to skin contact I should really do something about that like...I don't know...gloves?..yeah sure why not!

Lost in thoughts I am quickly snapped back to reality by the man talking to me. "Well if this isn't a pleasant surprise, I don't know what is... You know I always think you are a woman and it always disappoints me that you are man..," he states removing my hood.

Rude....but I'm in no position to pick a fight with him. I hate this... I tried to learn magic to defend myself but the only thing I'm able to do is magic that's to save others or do good. I can't fight with magic. God I feel so weak...

"I'm still sorry for bumping into you the other day, I really am and I assure you I've learned my lesson, so if you could ju—," I try to reason with him but am interrupted by him slapping me.

I cry out in pain which ends up in him chuckling. "You are so weak! What a sad excuse of a man you are!" he says while pulling my hair, forcing my head up so I'd make direct eye contact with him. I'm about to say something as I hear another voice ringing through the alleyway.

"Someone help! Guards! Here in the alleyway! There's a man getting beaten up!" a female sounding voice yells. "Thank you miss we'll take care of it," a man states.

"Shit!" the man in front of me exclaims. Making his escape but not before punching me in the stomach and warning me "That's not the end of it yet kid, you're just lucky these days." I fall to the ground sitting up by the wall and holding my stomach in pain. Geez what's his damage? Why is he even targeting me? I wish I had the time to target a person that simply bumped into me.

While thinking a guard approaches me and asks a lot of questions, one of them being where the man went. Still groaning in pain I point to the direction the man from before ran to. The guard thanks me and follows him.

After a few minutes of me sitting there and adjusting to the pain I notice that the groceries have fallen out of the basket. I put them back in and slowly but steady try to make my way out of the alleyway—of course—after having put my hood back on.

I proceed to take on the long painful walk back home. On my way home negative thoughts spread throughout my head. The feeling of being weak makes me uncomfortable and being reminded of it doesn't help the cause.

After reaching the hut and surprisingly not having had a breakdown on my way here Dylan approaches me. He worriedly asks questions if I'm ok and what happened while my other two brothers laugh at my weakness.

"It's fine Dylan...I just need to rest... I'll be in my room," I tell him trying not to break out in tears. "Fine but if you need help you can always talk to us, even if those two are behaving like idiots right now!" he replies glaring at Alistair and Connor shutting them up.

I thank him and progress in making my way upstairs, but before going to my room I make a stop at the bathroom where I scrub my hands and wrists till they turn red. Thenceforth I open the bathroom cabin to search for some gloves, so at least I won't have "that" problem anymore. I finally find some and put them on.

Feeling much better I go to my room. I lie down on my bed thinking about what happened with the man earlier. God I hate this. I really tried mastering magic but I appear to not be able do anything to hurt people, which just makes me sad. Not meaning I wanna hurt people, but it would be nice to be able to protect myself.

Hours pass as these thoughts go through my mind. I just feel uncomfortable right now, I need to calm down.

~Meanwhile~

(Alfred's POV)

Man, it has been days and still no sign of the queen. I'm beginning to lose hope...maybe we missed her?

There are only a couple of towns left, I really do hope we find her if we don't noone knows what's gonna happen to the kingdom.

As the king of spades my power is to defend the kingdom, but without a queen I can't reach my full potential of power.

This is exhausting...After today there is only one day and one night left and the journey will be over. I don't wanna disappoint my people I really do hope we'll find her.

"Don't worry Alfred I'm sure we'll find the queen!" Yao suddenly says breaking the silence. "I hope we do, it's just nerve wracking that we haven't found her yet!" I state while rubbing my templates.

"You shouldn't refer to the queen as her... The queen is not necessarily a female!Haven't you heard about the queen of the kingdom of hearts?" Yao questions.

"Wait seriously?! Dude, why didn't you tell me earlier maybe we missed her, well him...ugh whatever!" I reply slightly irritated.

"It's fine Alfred! Like I said if you see the queen you'll just know it! I trust you, so please also trust me," he says with a friendly smile on his face. "I do trust you! I just don't wanna disappoint the kingdom by being a bad king who can't even find the queen!" I exclaim with a look of worry.

"Alfred you are a great king! Please just calm down we'll find the queen, you just need to give it time!" Yao states trying to comfort me. I smile at him. Just when I'm about to say something the carriage comes to halt.

"Well let's go my king, maybe the queen will be in this town!" I smile as he opens the door for me.

He's right I gotta stay positive! I'm sure I'll find her.... well him or her!
