"I need to make it up to her. And talk to her."
"You do."
"How-?"
"That's something you need to figure out yourself. Listen," BamBam sighed. "Priya's basically my sister. I'm giving you one last chance with her. Don't mess this up."
"I won't, Bam," Jungkook promised. "Thanks."
...
"So what is it that you need, Yugyeom-ssi?" Lisa asked sweetly as she filled a glass of water for him. He accepted it gratefully and gave her an apologetic smile.
"I'm here on behalf of one of my members, Jackson. He...he was wondering if he had a chance with you. He really admires you, noona."
"Oh!" Lisa was taken aback and tripped over her own two feet. Yugyeom helped her up. "Oh, well...I mean-"
She was interrupted by the ring of the doorbell.
"Sorry, give me a minute."
Not bothering to smooth out her rumpled clothes, she hurried over to the entrance.
Saved by the bell, I guess.
She opened the door and her breath hitched. Jeongguk stood there, completely out of breath.
"Liz, I'm so-"
His gaze landed somewhere near her feet, then traveled up her figure until he reached her eyes with disbelief written all over his face. Lisa frowned and looked down where he had been staring.
Yugyeom's shoes. Her wrinkled clothes and messy hair.
Shit. He can't think...
He stared at her for a while, shook his head, and stepped back.
"Uh...n-never mind."
"Guk, wait! This isn't...we didn't-"
He ran off without listening to her. Lisa bit her lip and breathed deeply.
She closed the door and walked back to Yugyeom with a weak smile.
"You know, why don't you tell Jackson we should set up a date one of these days?"
