"I love you, you moron."

Jungkook blinked.

"You can't love me. I'm not good for you, I'm messed up. I don't want-"

Lisa shoved another spoonful of soup in his mouth before he could push her away or do something equally dumb.

"Please, shut up," she sighed. "That's my decision. So stop being so dramatic. As much as I love watching k-dramas, it's not so fun to go through it in real life."

He swallowed the soup and they entered a comfortable silence.

"Doll?"

Lisa smiled. It felt as if he hadn't called her that in ages.

"What is it now, Kookie?"

"Can you just...lay here with me?"

Lisa snorted but did as she was asked, tucking herself next to him.

"Cuddling? What a baby."

He ignored her and wrapped his arms around her.

"It's only been a few weeks but I've missed you, Lili."

"Did you really mean it when you said you love me?"

"Of course," he said, tucking a a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "You're everything to me, Lisa."

She bit her lip. How many women had he said that to? She'd walked in on him and another girl countless times but never mentioned it. She couldn't help but feel uncertain. It felt like it was starting all over again.

"And yet," she began, struggling to control her emotions. "Even if you knew this you didn't hesitate to play with all those other girls in front of me."

"They meant nothing to me," he turned her towards her, begging for her to believe him.  "I'm sorry for hurting you, Lisa. I've been an ass. Please, please forgive me," he murmured, cupping her face.

"I'm scared, Kook," she said, tears streaming down her face. "I think you're telling me this but tomorrow I'll come here only to find another girl with you. What even are we?"

"What do you want us to be?"

Lisa looked at him.

"This isn't about me. I need some sort of commitment, Jungkook, or we'll just be going around in circles. And if you can't do that for me...I don't think I can stay. I can't stay and watch you with someone else. I matter too."

Before he could even answer, she stood up, smiling sadly.

"Think about it...and call me, or something."
