nari ignored jaemin during the latter half of their 4 hour drive from busan to seoul. after the incident, the elders shot them a knowing look before they left the place. she isn't mad about it though. she was just embarrassed and jaemin teased her about it for two hours, still making her face flush.
jaemin also apologized to her for the next two hours, making nari say that it was okay but he thought that she sounded forced. now, they already arrived on nari's apartment, none of them wanted to talk. nari was about to enter her unit when jaemin held her hand.
"babe, i'm really sorry," he kissed her hand while doing his signature puppy eyes.
nari sighed as she smiled to the taller, "i told you it's okay. just don't tease me again when we come back there."
"if you want to," jaemin started, cautiously scanning nari's expression on what he was about to say. "i'll go there now and tell them that i'm wilder than you."
"na jaemin!"
jaemin laughed at her as he buried her face to his chest, engulfing her to a tight hug. he stopped laughing when he heard a noise coming from nari's unit. "what's that?"
nari's eyes widened but she immediately recovered from her panic and smiled to jaemin like nothing happened. "drive safely, okay? message me when you arrive home."
jaemin shrugged off the uneasy feeling in his mind as he left nari and started driving his way home. when he arrived home, he checked minji's room as a habit since she tend to sneak out of their house late at night or she tend not to sleep early playing games or studying. he was surprised when he saw minji covered by a duvet and is probably sleeping but he just closed the door and went to his room.
he took a quick shower then he wore his most comfortable clothes, readying himself to sleep for the next 12 hours since he has spent his whole day driving and making moments with nari. he smiled when a summary of their day flashed on his mind, making him get his phone and type a message to nari.
