Everyone came to school as usual. Soobin, who was hanging around with his friends before class starts, spotted Namji in the hallway carrying a stack of books. She looked like she was struggling so Soobin rushed to help her.
Beomgyu: Guys don't you think Soobin hyung got extremely close with Namji lately?
The boys looked at both of the in the hallway carrying the books while laughing with each other.
Hueningkai: What's their relationship exactly?
Yeonjun: Well he keeps telling us their just 'friends'.
Taehyun: Yeah, really close friends.
Hueningkai: Do you guys think he maybe feels something more than that?
The boys narrowed their eyes as they thought.
Beomgyu: He acts so weird sometimes.
Yeonjun: I know right! I noticed how he gets all sulky when Namji and Sanha are having fun with each other. It obvious that he's jealous yet he always denies it.
Hueningkai: Soobin hyung has always been so uncertain with his feelings, I don't even think he knows what he's feeling himself.
Taehyun: I've got something in mind. Maybe this will help....

LUNCHTIME
Soobin and his friends gathered up at their table where they always sat. They conversed about boys stuff until Taehyun brought up a subject.
Taehyun: Hey guys, prom is approaching. Are you guys going to invite someone as your date to the dance?
Soobin: No one. I'm not going.
Hueningkai: What? Why not?
Soobin: Come on, I've never attended such activities at school. They're no fun and I hate wearing fancy clothes.
Yeonjun: But it's your last one this year! We're all coming.
Soobin: So? That won't convince me.
Beomgyu: Aww you're boring. Anyway, I hope Sanha won't ask Namji to the dance, I was actually planning to ask her to be my date.
Soobin stopped eating for a second and looked up to him.
Soobin: What? Why?
Beomgyu: Cuz I like her? Duh!
Yeonjun: What? No way, I was going to ask her!
Taehyun: No, because I never had a date, this is my first time and I wanted to ask her as well.
Soobin frowned and looked at them as if they've said something offensive.
Hueningkai: But I already chose her as my date to the dance! I'm the maknae and the hyungs always have to give the maknae what he wants.
Soobin slammed his chopsticks on the table.
Soobin: None of you are going with her. She's mine!
The boys' jaw dropped. It was actually all a part of Taehyun's plan to pretend they were going to ask Namji to the dance.
They did expect him to get jealous but they didn't expect those words to come out of his mouth. Soobin was shocked at himself as well.
Soobin: Wait- I mean-
Taehyun: You can't take back what you said.
Yeonjun: Oh my gosh Soobin. *shook*
Beomgyu: You're starting to like Namji.
Soobin: N-no I'm not! I never will!
His friends shook their heads.
Hueningkai: Your actions just gave you a clear answer, Soobin hyung. You. Like. Namji.
Soobin shook his head. He can't like her. He can't like anyone. He was sure those words just slipped out accidentally.
Soobin: "Why, Namji?"
