Namji: Soobin!
Namji shouted across the hallway making Soobin stop his tracks.
Namji: Hey are you ok?
Soobin: I'm perfectly fine.
Namji: Okay....do you wanna go to the bakery today?
Soobin's expression didn't look positive. He looked at her coldly.
Soobin: No.
Namji: Oh. How about tomorrow?
Soobin sighed in irritation.
Soobin: No. I don't wanna hang out with you anymore Namji. Stay away from me.
That hit Namji like a truck. Her eyes sadden and she gave him a pained smile.
Namji: Alright then...
She turned around and left, trying not to cry. Soobin's shoulders dropped and he felt bad for giving her the cold shoulder.
He was upset himself, he felt selfish. But it had to be done before it gets worse in the future.

TIME SKIP
Namji shambled her way towards the hospital after a long, tiring day. She has been feeling upset ever since she left school.
She sighed as she thought about Soobin. Maybe they really aren't meant for each other...
Namji reached the room of her grandmother. She grabbed the doorknob and was about to twist it open when she heard her dad's voice.
Dad: Alright, I'll head off now. I hope I'll get to see Namji next time.
Namji immediately backed away from the door and walked off in a quick pace before her dad could meet her.
Dad: Namji?
It was too late and he had already seen her.
Dad: Were you going to leave just now?
Namji: Yes.
Dad: Are you trying to avoid seeing me Namji?
Namji stayed quiet. She might go off on him when she opens her mouth.
Dad: I'm not only coming all the way here just to treat your grandmother, I also thought this could be the opportunity to see you more often and you're keeping yourself away from me?!
His dad raised his voice a little.
Namji: Do you think I still want to be with you after everything you've done? Dad, do you know how I felt at the times when I never got to see you when I wanted to? YOU wanted to keep me away from your family! You kept me a secret from them.
Namji's voice started to break as tears were streaming from her eyes.
Namji: We never even got to spend my birthday together anymore since I was fucking 12. It's like it didn't really matter. If you thought I was doing just fine on my own, that's what I wish for but you're wrong. I c-couldn't tell you all my problems in school because y-you weren't there for me. Not only mom has left me when she died, b-but you left me too so I lost both of you. I only have halmeoni to take care of me so I don't want to lose her t-too.
Namji said as she sobbed and tried to wipe off her tears with her sleeve. Her dad listened to every word she was saying.
Namji: J-just so you know dad, I'm still your daughter. You shouldn't just throw me aside and forget about me...
She walked pass him, crying uncontrollably and went to the restroom nearby.
Namji didn't know when the time would come where she could just live happily without having to go through pain like this. Always, she felt like giving up, but the thought what her mother would think has always stopped her.
Namji: "Mom, you're still here for me, right?"
