"Why the hell is it so cold.", I complain as I look outside. The streets are sprinkled with snow and the cold January air is blowing against the windows.
"Will you be warm enough in your clothes? ", Dan hugs me from behind.
"I think so. I mean, I had the cold weather in mind when designing this but who would've thought that we'd see snow in London.", I laugh.
The day of the premiere has come and it is also finally time to announce the pregnancy to everyone else. By now, my bump is not to be hidden. And even though I barely leave the house, I've spent a lot of time planning and organizing the move ahead.
Both Dan and I are mainly just excited to finally share the news and be able to leave the house normally again. We spent Christmas and New Year's in private at home with some family and friends while enjoying our time as husband and wife.
The drive to the premier is nerve-racking, if I'm honest. There is no going back now. Once I step out of the car, the secret will be out. But we have talked through every possible scenario and are certain that we indeed want to announce it.
"We have arrived.", the driver says and stops right at the red carpet.
We both thank him and take a deep breath before Dan gets out of the seat to walk over to my door.
He opens it and takes my Dan, helping me out.
Right when I step out, cameras start flashing. Dan squeezes my hand and mouths: "Everything will be okay. I love you." I take another deep breath and we walk towards the carpet, hand in hand.
To my surprise, seeing a pregnant woman tamed the paparazzi quite a bit. They aren't shy taking pictures but not once did someone shout anything at us. And since this wasn't a public premier, no fans are to be seen.
Arriving in the middle, Dan and I stop for a second.
He looks Dan at me and gives me the biggest smile I've ever seen.
"Y/N!", I hear and look over to Fleur who is standing at the end of the carpet.
We slowing make our way over to her and when we arrive, she gives me the biggest hug: "You look dashing, honey! I am so proud."
Phil joins us and we all chat about what just happened before they both make their way inside of the viewing room, leaving Dan and I to ourselves.
"That went so great. You did so good.", he smiles and gives me a quick peck.
"I couldn't have done it without you. Now it's waiting for the reaction of everyone.", I sigh.
"Hey, you're a Howell, you're not letting anyone beat you down."
While sat at the viewing I couldn't help but think of what situation in our personal life we were in while certain moments were shown on screen. Even though I wasn't part of the documentary whatsoever, Dan and Phil were and since their day to day life was shown, I had to think about every thing that went on behind the scenes.
During the pause, a few people came up to us to congratulate us and chat. Zoe found me to say how proud she was and how happy she is we don't have to hide it anymore.
Sadly, she was seated quite a bit away from us, next to her brother who I haven't seen in a long time.
Speaking of him, Joe appears behind his sisters, just as she was about to go back to her seat.
