Right when Dan spots him, he is about to stand up but I quickly pull him back.
He looks at me but I give him a reaffirming nod.
"Hey guys, um- I just wanted to congratulate you on the wedding and of course this whole thing. That's all.", Joe looks at Dan and holds his hand towards him.
He gives him a quick look and just says: "Thank you.", without acknowledging his hand.
Joe nods and leaves, noticing that he isn't really welcome. Dan looks at me and sighs: "Pussy."
I burst out laughing, along with Zoe and Phil: "Not what I expected to hear just now."
When the documentary is about to continue, everyone goes back to their seats.
Dan puts his hand on my leg and gives me a peck on my cheek along with butterflies in my tummy: "I'm so happy we can finally just be ourselves. And I'm sorry you had to witness that just now.", he whispers.
"Don't be sorry. I thought it was quite sexy.", I whisper back and smile at him
Back at home the first thing we do is order some food and go to the lounge together. Since most of our stuff is already packed away and ready to be moved in to our new house soon, we sit on the floor. When we finish, I go up to the bathroom and am about to take a shower, when Dan knocks on the door: "Yes?"
"Can I come in?"
"Of course."
He comes in and immediately smirks at the view: "I just wanted to grab something but I think I'll stay a bit."
In bed, I check my phone as always. A lot of messages I got during the day are from friends and family telling me how proud they are. After talking to Dan and overthinking, I decide to check out social media.
All of my tagged photos are from the red carpet from earlier. And the captions and comments are so lovely, that I couldn't help but shed a tear.
Dan also read a lot on his phone and would occasionally show me some things that he thinks are cute.
I remember the site we saw a while back about the 'pregnancy proof' and I decide to check it out.
They posted a picture from the premiere as well and captioned it: "Hey guys! Since her pregnancy is now confirmed, I wanted to congratulate them. I know my page has gotten a lot of attention, which was sometimes negative. And for that, I want to apologize. I've realized that what I've done was a huge invasion of privacy. So to Dan and Y/N, I am truly sorry. I have no idea if you guys will ever see this but if you do I just hope you forgive me and everyone that made a quick assumption. We have truly learned our lesson. I really hope you have a peaceful rest of your pregnancy and I wish you guys all the best for the up and coming new chapter of your life. I am so proud and take all of the time you need ❤️"
After I show Dan the post, both him and I leave a heart under the post and thank them.
In conclusion, life seems to be going great.
