You awoke feeling...kinda weird. Confused yet...oddly optimistic. It was a strange feeling.
Sitting up in your cot, you glanced over at Kierans side of the tent, and at his empty cot.
Running a hand to through your bed hair, you remembered how Kieran had vowed to look out and protect you last night.
It was so sweet yet, you couldn't actually see him picking any fights with anyone anytime soon. If ever.
He was so meek and shy, then again he always has been.
It was nice that he was at least trying to be brave for your sake.

Pulling yourself from the warmth of your own cot, you felt a sudden pain in your neck. As a reflex, you brought a hand up to the soreness. You must have slept funny or something.
You threw on some clothes and left the tent to see Kieran sat at the campfire outside the tent.

"Mornin' Kieran"
"Good morning (Y/N) sleep well?" He asked you as you placed your hands on his shoulders from behind.
"Yeah fine I guess." You replied, sighing.

Sleeping on that encounter with Micah earlier last night, made you all the more curious about everything. What you were to him and where you would go from here.
You knew you needed to talk to him about it all.
But not at camp, you must be joking.

"Have you seen Molly?" You asked him, taking your hands from him to turn around and look across the camp in search of your friend.

"Ah saw her go down there to the river a short while ago, she might still be there." Kieran told you as he leaned backwards to point you in the correct direction.

"Okay, thanks Kieran. I'll see you later." You dismissed him rather quickly as you headed off to find Molly.
As you walked through camp, since it was still early morning, you noticed some gang members getting changed out of their sleepwear.
By complete coincidence, you saw Mr. Morgan open his tent with his shirt not buttoned up. Not that you were complaining. A smirk escaped your lips but you pulled your gaze from him and continued.
You also saw Strauss waking up in his ridiculous sleepwear. You tried to hold in a giggle but failed miserably, causing him to shoot you a glare, not that you cared.

Making it down to the waterside, turns out Kieran was right and Molly was in-fact there. She looked a little melancholy and down yet you approached her as chipper as you could.
"Morning Sunshine." You greeted your friend as you stood beside her.
She sighed yet smiled up at you.
"Hi sweetie. You seem cheerful." She assumed.

"The complete opposite actually." You corrected her as you slowly paced around the shore, letting the waves gently brush against your boots.

"Oh? How so?" She asked.
"Its...it's Micah."
"Why am I not surprised." She teased, causing you to both crack smiles.
"He said a lot of stuff last night that's just got me thinking. I wonder, where I stand with him, what we are, what we will be" you continued, rambling slightly.

"Ask him then. Least he talks to ya." Molly snapped a little. She'd clearly had a dreadful morning.
You pulled a face to express your shock at her tone.
"What's wrong? Dutch being an ass?" You asked her, placing your hands on your hips.

"Don't be so loud! And no, w-well, he's...he's just stressed I suppose..." she trailed off. She truly tried everything possible to defend that man and all his wrong doings. It'll end her in trouble one of these days.

"He sure seems like a difficult man." You attempted to make light of a quite awkward conversation now.

"Yeah well, all men are difficult as you know. So, how do you plan on talking to him? I mean, you can't do it here, there's too many distractions." Molly told you and you knew she had a point.
