Gilbert's POV

I waited until Blair was inside her house so that I could turn the engine back on.

I let out a breathe and put a hand on my heart which is beating faster than ever before.

Jesus I feel like I'm having a heart attack.

I feel a smile form on my face as I recall the feeling of her hands in my hair, the feeling of my hands on the bare skin of her waist.

I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, the heat in face, and the beating of my heart about to come out of my chest.

Blair.

That girl is gonna be the end of me.

She's intoxicating, I just can't get enough, I want to be around her all day and night. I wanna hold her in my embrace and let her know how beautiful she is.

She's finally giving me a chance.

I better not blow it.

I smile as I do a small fist bump in the air letting out a small "yes".

I then decide to drive off to the place where me and my friends are meeting, the smile never leaving my face.

I exited the mr Lamson's store with a smile on my face.

"You gotta work later?" I hear tucker ask from beside me.

I nod "yeah, I do, I gotta come back" I respond smiling knowing that when I go back Blair will be by my side.

Oh Blair, I can't wait till she gets here so I could hold her and kiss the life out of her again.

Tucker notices the smile on my face and asks "how's momma?".

"She's fat" I reply nonchalantly.

"Come on man, she's not all that big Gilbert"tucker says, hating the fact that I talk about my mother that way.

"What?" I question, not believing that even he believes himself.

"Listen, I saw a guy at the state fair who was a little bit bigger" he replies.

"A little bit bigger?" I question him scoffing.

"Look, all I'm saying is she's not the biggest I've ever seen" he clarified.

"Tucker, she's a whale" I reply

"Well take her out for a walk once in a while" tucker says

"Take her out for a jog" I retort.

"Get her out of the house" tucker recommends.

"She's a whale! She's a whale! She's a whale!" I hear Arnie repeat jumping around behind us.

"Hey Bobby" I say seeing him get out of his car.

"Hi guys" he replies smiling.

"Give her a chance, that's all I'm saying" tucker says.

"I know"I say dismissing the subject.

"How's business?" I ask bobby, waiting for him by the door while tucker goes in to get us a table.

"Not good"he replies as he slams the hood of his car to get Arnie to stop touching it.

"Nobody's dying" he elaborated.

We're sitting at a table near the window as Arnie is playing with one of the machines.
