I smiled in my sleep as I hugged one of my pillows. It was so warm and comfortable that I wanted to stay here the whole day.

All of a sudden, amidst my slumber, I feel someone nudge my shoulder, probably trying to get me to wake up.

Without opening my eyes, I swatted the hand away and nuzzled my head into my pillow, holding it closer to my body.

"So are you gonna introduce me to your friend?" I hear a voice ask.

...I recognize that voice...

My sleepy eyes shot open and looked into familiar sea green irises that were almost identical to my own.

I looked over and finally recognized the mess of wavy red hair and pale skin.

My mother was there with her arms crossed, a amused smile dancing on her lips as she looked at me.

I then realized that the "pillow" I was hugging, wasn't a pillow at all, it was actually Gilbert. He seemed to be in deep sleep as his face looked relaxed and carefree.

I blushed in embarrassment and began to get out of his embrace.

"Mom, It's not what it looks-" I was cut off when strong arms pulled me back down onto the couch, making me land back onto Gilbert's chest.

I looked at Gilbert to see that he was still asleep so I tried to get up again to no avail.

He groaned and gently ran one of his hands through my hair making my face heat up with a blush.

"Stay here with me, Blair" he murmurs in a low morning voice as he begins to open his eyes slowly.

I cleared my throat and looked over to my mother who was now grinning like a Cheshire Cat as she looked at me and Gilbert.

"So um..mom...this is Gilbert" I manage to squeak out.

Gilbert's eyes widen when he hears the word "mom" escape my lips.

He looks over to his left finally taking notice of my moms presence. She smiles at him and gives him a small wave.

He smiles back awkwardly and waves to her "hello ms Wilson, nice to meet you".

Me and Gilbert both sat up and separated, heavy blushes on both of our faces.

She chuckles at our expressions "it's very nice to meet you young man, are you my daughters boyfriend?".

Gilbert looks down at his lap "I- um...we...um.." he stutters out, not exactly knowing the answer himself.

"It's complicated" I respond.

He smiles over at my mother and says "although I hope one day, I'll be able to answer that question with a yes".

My mother gasps and looks at me while fanning her face "charming and polite, darling you've found yourself a keeper!".

My mother then sits on the other side of Gilbert and begins to point out all the good things about Gilbert.

"He's quite the looker and he looks at you like your his one and only, you should really take a chance with this man Blair" she says looking at Gilbert with a delighted smile.

I roll my eyes as Gilbert looks over at me with a smile.

I crossed my arms and pouted.

He chuckled when he say my expression.

He gently booped my nose and said "don't give me that face, put the pout away", quoting what I told him yesterday.

I let out a small hmph as Gilbert bit his lip trying to contain his smile while wrapping one arm around my waist.
