Subject 305-b

Chapter 10

Reyna and Athena where out hunting the afternoon when spaceships passed over head. One had landed in the field and Pandora, their mother, walked out from the wood line sword in hand. (Athena very much resembled her mother.)

"What's going on?" Pandora's voice was usually full of wisdom, but now was full of worry.

"I'm not sure mother, a few other ships flew over towards the-" Reyna cut off when the sound of explosions sounded in the distance. They all looked in the direction of the explosion. A huge mushroom cloud could clearly be seen in the distance. The anger on Pandora's face was startled Reyna. Then from the spaceship a dozen men that looked like lizards stepped out with a human looking creature in a black suit behind them.

Reyna and the others stood there as the man walked up to them and the Lazard men surrounded them in a v-shape. The man held out his arms in a welcoming gesture.

"Ah... The purple people of Ontareon how... Interesting. I would take you all for testing but your DNA doesn't fit what I need." The man said half to himself.

"My name is Jake but I'm sure you know that already." Jake laughed evilly.

Jake, galaxy wide known terrorist, killed a countless number of living beings, and destroyed entire planets.

He waved a signal to his men and he backed up smiling and his the lizards started advancing. Pandora pushed Athena and Reyna back while they drew their weapons. Pandora frantically looked around trying to figure out what to do. All she cared about was protecting her daughters. Then one of Jakes men launched themselves at Reyna slicing her eye. While two others attacked Athena and Pandora.

"REYNA!" Pandora screamed her child's name not knowing if she was alive. She shoved off the lizard and stabbed the one that attacked Athena in the heart.

Pandora and Athena where back to back, the lizard men surrounded them. Athena was terrified, her sister was laying on the ground unconscious and she had no idea what to do. Pandora did the only thing she thought was reasonable. She tossed he sword at her feet and motioned Athena do the same.

"Stop! Please! You don't have to do this." Pandora pleaded.

Jake smiled evilly and walked up to Pandora grabbing a pistol from the holster of one of his men. He got in Pandora's face then turned to Athena.

"She's a pretty one, isn't she?" Jake smiled at Athena. She turned her head to the side so not to have to face Jake.

"Leave...them...alone." Reyna groaned her strength was fading. Jake shook his head in frustration and walked over to Reyna. Her face was covered in blood and she probably missing her eye.

"Well this ones got spirit," Jake growled "let's see if we can break it!"
Two of the lizards jerked up Reyna and held her up. Jake picked up a short metal poll, raised it up and hit Reyna in the head.

Her whole body went limp, when they let her go she fell to the ground. Jake bent over and was about to hit her again.

"DONT YOU DARE TOUCH HER AGAIN!" Pandora yelled. She picked up her sword and sliced Jakes face. Jake fell to the ground, he sat up and placed his hand on his cheek. Bringing his hand back down, Jake studied his bloody hand.

"You shouldn't have done that." Jake grunted and stood up.

Pandora went to cut Jake again but she was hit in the head. Pandora feel to her knees as blood gushed from the side of her head. Jake wiped his face off and leaned down to pick up his gun. Athena was frozen in place it was like her feet where glued to the ground. Then Jake held the gun to Pandora's bloodied head.

"Please no! You can't do-"

"Shut her up!" Jake interrupted her angrily.

One of the lizard men approached Athena she tried to defend herself but it was too quick. The lizard dodged her moves and slit her side open with one move. Athena fell to the ground holding her side. Her vision blurred and was in searing pain where her side had been gashed open. Athena's consciousness was fading, she looked over to where her mother was knelt down. Jake was standing over Pandora the gun held to her mothers head. Athena flinched when the gun sounded and her mother fell to the ground. Tears rolled down Athena's eyes, she had lost her mother the person who took care of her all of their lives was gone. She lost her father to sickness now she had lost her mother to terrorist Jake. Her vision blacken into nothingness.
