Subject 305-b

Chapter 11

Reyna was laying on a metal table her arms and legs shackled to it. She could not see from her left eye. Reyna strained against the shackles, but it was taking most of her strength to move. She looked around the room, it was a full metal room with one door that locked from the outside. To the left was a glass cabinet with medical equipment. Reyna looked over to her right, Athena was shackled to the wall. Her face was bruised and bloodied and she was either asleep or unconscious.

"Athena" Reyna groaned. "Wake up."

Athena groaned and raised her head up. She blinked and looked around looking angry and confused.

"Looks like you put up a fight." Reyna commented.

"Well I didn't hit myself in the head." Athena laughed weakly then groaned in pain.

Reyna shook her head and sighed. Then she noticed Athena side, it was gashed open pretty deep and was still bleeding. She needed to get her side sewed up but she had to get the shackles off. The shackle on her right hand felt loose. Reyna had gained some of her strength back so she started to try to twist her arm out. She flattened her hand and was able to slide her hand out. She pulled a small metal screw out from under her and opened the unlocked the the shackles. Athena had her head down and was breathing very lightly; she had lost consciousness.
Reyna ran over to Athena and examined her side, she needed stitches and something to clean the wound. She ran over to the glass cabinet, Reyna tries to open the cabinet but it was locked shut. She smashed the class with her elbow and glass went everywhere. She rummaged through the medicines and found a pain reliever, and a disinfectant and stitches.

Reyna unlocked Athena shackles and sat her up on the table. She grabbed a rag and poured some of the disinfectant on her side. Athena winced while Reyna cleaned the wound. It was harder to do the stitching because of her eye. The stitching was bad but it stopped the bleeding. When Reyna went to turn around Athena grabbed her arm.

"Your eye..." Athena whispered "here let me clean it."

Reyna handed Athena the rag and the disinfectant. Athena started cleaning her eye gently. When she finished Athena knew Reyna couldn't see from her eye.

"Where's mother? Reyna asked. Athena froze, then she remembered what happened. Tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"No... No..." Reyna started crying. She wrapped her arms around Athena trying to comfort her.

Then the door swung open and Jake and a few other creatures in containment suits walked in. Athena jumped up and turned around, Reyna right beside her. Jake shut the door and a green gas filled the room. Athena grabbed the table she had gotten dizzy. She looked over at Reyna who looked nauseated and stumbled into the wall. Both Reyna and Athena blacked out. The other men grabbed Athena and Reyna a pulled them down the hall.

When Reyna awoke she was laying on what looked like a bed. She was strapped down to it, and there was no way for her to move.

Then a terrible pain stretched up her foot. But when she looked up her foot wasn't there. There was a lot of blood and a stub where her foot used to be. Reyna screamed and a guy in a containment suit walked in the room.
He had blood on his suit and it was most likely Reyna's blood.

"Why.... why did you do this to me?!" Reyna demanded.

The man just looked at her and walked over to a table a grabbed a saw. Reyna started screaming and she strained against the restraints. Then an alarm blared and the man laid down the saw and ran out the room. Athena ran into the room sword two swords in hand.

"Athena what are you-"

"Shh!" Athena warned.

She cut Reyna's restraints and helped her up. Athena threw Reyna's arm over her shoulder and they made their way out.
