I've decided to invite The Consultant Mr. Oliver sa hotel. I want his advices on some services and facilities in the hotel. Kaya alas dos ymedia palanag ng hapon ay nag-ayos na ako sa sarili, he'll be here at 3 P.M
I unbuttoned my all-white trench coat revealing my simple gold necklace and a black above the knee fitted spaghetti strap dress underneath, my trench coat is only one inch longer than my dress. I comb my long hair and kept it into a high ponytail also revealing my pearl earring. I touched up my powder, blush, and my soft peach lipstick and top it off with a clear lip gloss. I fixed my luxury rose gold wristwatch, then Janica knocks my office door.
"Come in," I said.
"Mr. Oliver just arrived at the lobby" Anunsyo nya. Tumango ako kay Janica.
"Thank you Janica. Tell the French chef to prepare us some savory pastry. Set it at café veranda."
"What time? Should I hold the incoming guests at café veranda for a short time?"
"There's no need for that, just reserve the seat at the far end of the veranda. Around 4 P.M."
The dashing and masculine consultant Oliver is standing in front of the lobby's magnificent fountain. With the black tuxedo that suits him very well, he looks like he's about to ask a girl to a ball or something.
"Mr. Oliver," I said smiling. He turned to me, and a guilty feeling burned inside of me nung mag tama anag aming mga mata, ang kanyang mga pamilyar na mata.
"What a lovely day indeed..." He whispered softly but enough for me to hear.
"I'm sorry?" I smiled. He shakes his head.
"Take me away from here then." He said. Ngumiti ako at tsaka tumango.
"Where do you want to visit first?" I asked.
"Ikaw ang bahala." He said in a very awkward tagalog which I find adorable.
"You should maximize your seats here since it's cold in NYC at the moment, guests preferred to dine and swim indoors." Komento nya.
"I noticed a closed restaurant in your hotel lobby, tell me about it."
Pinindot ko ang button ng elevator taking us to the rooftop of the hotel.
"It was the Director of Finance's idea to shut it down. We were in the Philippines when the shutdown happens." Kumunot ang noo nya. The elevator door opened and he gestured me to go outside first.
We walk down on the lobby that leads to the rooftop. A café veranda staff opened the glass door for us.
"Tell me more. What is this restaurant? What does it serve?" A staff is escorting us to our seat.
Café Veranda is one of Villa. Andale's pride. It is located on the rooftop of the hotel. It's unique because it's a greenhouse that doubles as a café. Vines hanging from the glass dome that closes the entire café. It's like dining in a fairytale terrarium. The best comes at night, fairy lights are the only source of light making it more romantic to dine with a partner, but also you got a great view of the city lights below, especially if you get the seats at the end of the veranda where I and Oliver are seated now.
