IT WONT FADE

A few months had passed since Mr. Collins got arrested. The hotel finally went out of the public about what was going on for the past few months. Tambak-tambak ang nagawang interview sa akin. Hotel Villa. Andale was trending all over the Business Industry.

Ang nakakatawa lang ay kung noon tinawag nila akong undergrad CEO, ngayon nag iba na ito. I am now called the youngest and brightest CEO in New York City. A lot of investors kept coming, sponsors and promotions are also stacking up at the office.

Daddy fully recovered at ang sabi ni Mommy ay na babagot na raw ito sa bahay kung saan wala syang ginagawa.

It's the last week of April. Ate Chelsea delivered a very healthy baby boy. They named him Ezra Elias. Kaya heto ako ngayon at katawag si Kuya.

"You need to come home, Loisa." Kanina pa sya namimilit sa akin na pauwiin ako. I can't.

"Kuya, I can't, ang daming gawain dito sa opisina." I said as an excuse.

"Janica and Mrs. Green can handle that. Kahit one week lang." He insisted.

"I really can't Kuya. What if may mga emergency meetings." Ngunit gustog-gusto ko talagang mahawakan si baby Ezra.

"You were so excited to see the newborn. Bakit parang ayaw mo na."He sounds suspicious.

"It's not that Kuya, I'm just very bus—"

"Because you're heartbroken!" He said. Mag poprotesta n asana ako ngunit nag salita ulit sya.

"Do you think I did not notice? I knew that guy has his asshole side, I should've not given him a chance. If I see—"

"Kuya, enough! Okay, he broke my heart, but so what? It's done. I think I've moved on and matured upang umiyak gabi-gabi."

Nag talo pa kami ni Kuya ng ilang minuto hanggang sa kumalma sya at nag end ang tawag naming.

Bandang hapon naman ay sinundan ako ng tawag ni Kelsie.

"How are you?" She started.

"Doing good. How about you? You look old!" Kanchaw ko. She made face.

"I'll get to the point. Hinahanap ka nina Liean, Ken, Klara at Kim." She said. Hearing my friend's name sent loneliness to my heart real quick. I can't believe hindi man lang ako nag paalam sa kanila.

"They've been looking for you ever since you were gone. Nagawa ko pang takasan ang mga katanungan nila noon, but now they're furious! Sinugod ba naman ako ni Ken dito sa opisina!" She said at tsaka may binuksan na folder kung saan may pinirmahan sya.

"Don't you think it's time for you to reconnect with them?" Huminga ako ng malalim.

"You're still afraid, aren't you?" She said looking at me directly na para bang walang screen ang namamagitan sa amin.

"I don't know..."

"One time he was looking for you." Daw halos nabuhayan ako sa pagod na nararamdaman.

"I shut him off and told him not to come to see me looking for you anymore." Huminga ulit ako ng malalim not sure what to say or feel.

"Look, forget Diego, but our friends need answers. Think about it, I have to go now. You take care." She said and hang up. Great just great.

So that's what I did the whole night. I created a dummy Facebook account so I could reconnect with my friends. Kelsie's right, they need to know.

"So Diego cheated on you, your dad had a heart attack, and you have to save your hotel?" Ken concluded after I told them everything. It's midnight at talagang nilalabanan ko lang ang antok.
