Owen's POV

It was about three in the afternoon when the DNA results came back.  We all sat down and confirmed that the baby in the grave was not their grandchild.  We also confirmed that Sang was their granddaughter.

"I thought about it and I think Sang should leave.  The case is going to be live again rather than cold which means there are chances they'll be stopping by here unannounced sometimes so it's better not to chance them running into her.  If they remember what your daughter looks like well you already know she's a dead ringer.  So she'll head back now with half my team in the hotel room and I'll stay with the other half to get this ball rolling.  I'll go with you to the police station and explain I'm your private detective.  Then I'll point them in the right direction." Owen explained.

"Dear our time was too short.  As soon as he's arrested we'll be moving down to you.  Then go back and forth for court.  It usually takes a bit of time before the first official court date.  There will be little court dates for selecting jury and such but then the main one is what we'll head back for.  We'll have to wrap things up here so taking the time until he's arrested should give us that time.  Talking with our parents and seeing what they want to do and our son.  Jesper honestly isn't stuck here.  He's the CEO of his father's company.  He can make decisions in New Orleans just as well as here.  Of course he still needs to deal with the loss of his sister.  Maybe the case finally being solved is what he needs to come to term with her death.  I lost my way with the point.  The point is that it was too short but I'll see you again and I'm glad I got to meet you my dear." Elsa said as she enveloped me in a warm hug.

"I'm glad we met as well and can't wait to see you again.  May I take my mom's journal with me?" Sangrida asked.

"Yes darling.  Of course you can." James said as he hugged Sang.

After my little blonde devil had her things packed back up I hugged her and promised I'd leave in a day or two.  Then she left to gather Sean, Luke, and Gabriel.  I decided those would be the ones to go back with her as Sean should get back to setting up his practice, Luke can go back to work with her at the bar, and Gabriel can finish setting up his art studio.  Gabriel has several careers he could have gone into fashion designer, interior decorator, artist, chemist creating shampoos and perfumes and such, etc.  He decided to go with artist.  I'll never understand how he was so insecure when he's so talented.  He can sing great too.  He has so many avenues to choose from and not everyone does.  Sean only had one path, Doctor.  Same with Luke, cook.  Well, model but Luke was never even slightly interested in that.  North mechanic and construction.  You get the point.  Gabriel had so many career choices that could mean good money that he would have been very talented in.  I'm glad he finally saw that and became the confident young man he is now.

I gathered Elsa and James into my grey BMW and we drove to the police station.  Once there we asked for the detectives over both the kidnapping case and the detectives over their case.

"Mr. and Mrs. Sorenson how may I help you?" one of the detectives asked.

"And why are we here?" another detective asked.

"Hi, I'm Mr. Blackbourne their hired private investigator.  My agency only takes real cases not adulterous kind of cases.  They contacted me recently to look into their case and we've hit the jackpot which involves one of your kidnapping cases that's still unsolved.  Is there somewhere we can sit and talk that's private?" I asked.

"I'm Detective Hanson and this is my partner Detective Childs.  We both are handling the Sorenson case.  If you follow us we have a conference room we can sit in." Detective Hanson said as he led the way to a conference room.
