Chapter 29

A/N:  The song isn't about abuse but it's still someone doing their partner wrong.  He cheats on his wife and then when she confronts him, he kills her.  Taylor's character in return kills him.  Seems to fall in with the spirit of my story.  I was going to use Aerosmith's Janie's got a Gun but I feel like I used it already?  I didn't feel like looking to see so I didn't take the chance.

It's been a month now since the serial killer began killing people and laying blame at my feet.  I haven't been able to carry out justice due to this as everyone knows V is a woman.  Not that I've been letting anyone who reaches out for help down.  That's when my men would step in.  But I didn't want them to do it all.  This was my business.  I know what my therapist would say.  It's my need to save my mom.  It's my need to punish my father's side.  My therapist wouldn't be wrong.  Whatever the reason, it's something I need to do and it helps people.  This forced down time has me crushing school though as I inch towards graduation.  Not that I wasn't already getting all A's.

On the romance side of things everything was great.  Nathan is now officially a part of this relationship.  He's moved into our home so it's all roses now.  And oh the kink.  THE KINK.  Sex is just great y'all.  I don't mean with just Nathan.  Corey is really becoming...well.  Let's just say he's definitely the Alpha in the bedroom even with Raven.  He's coming into his role quite nicely.  Coming.  Yep, I went there.

Other relationships are going well also.  My sister and her girlfriend will be coming here in the summer to live and my relationship with both is good.  She's the sister I remember before our mom changed into a monster.  I still think of the woman she once was as my mom because she was a good mom.  Then with my uncle we talk everyday now.  I know my family is wicked confusing.  Incestuous rape will do that to a family.  I've settled into thinking of my grandfather who is simultaneously my uncle as just my grandfather so his son is just my uncle.  It makes things so much more clear.  I digress we've become really close.  Just the family I've always wanted.  Family that you see on tv.

A/N: Does anyone watch Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist?  It's in it's second season.  I fell in love with it during it's first season.  It's about a girl who is an empath/telepath of the musical variety.  She knows how people feel exactly because she hears them singing a song that expresses how they're feeling/what they're going through.  It's great.  She helps them.  Anyways, she has a love triangle.  And end of season 2 episode one she finally makes her choice.  And it's my favorite guy so I'm all excited now!  Tell me someone else watches this!!

But right now?  Right now I'm hacked into the city's cameras and I'm everywhere watching.  Waiting for this serial killer to slip up because they WILL slip up.  The good news it the culprit isn't a fellow hacker or they would have already figured out who I am through my website.  Not really who I am but they'd be able to trace it to me.  So far none of the victims have been taken within view of a camera OR left within the view of a camera.  But it was only within a matter of time.  I will get this son of a bitch.  If they'd leave a trail on the internet I'd have them already.  But they haven't linked anything on the internet.  

"Biiiiiiiiiitch.  Where are you?  I know you aren't still in that dungeon where you hack any and everyone.  We are going out.  I'm done with you hiding way and living with guilt that isn't yours.  We are going out." Daniel called through my bat cave door.

"Do NOT call my bat cave a dungeon.  It's where I make magic happen, ok?" I said as I slammed the door to my bat cave open.

"Whatever.  Let's get you ready.  We're going out.  It's been forever since we did karaoke.  Dana and Ian are down and meeting us there.  So get that pretty little but tight ass ready." Daniel said with a slap to said ass.
