Mary's POV
Reece, Evelyn, Siren, and Ricky were eating popcorn whil the others were pissed at me and my idea of going to hell."What the hell is wrong with you?" Dean asked. "Dean." Kara said. "No, don't Dean me. I mean, Mae you have had some stupid ideas in the past, But this-- d-did you know about this?" Dean asked Bobby finally. "What?" Bobby asked. "About Mae's genius plan to cram the devil down his throat." Sam said, Bobby nodded. "Well, thanks for the heads up!" Ma and Pa yelled. "Hey, this ain't about me." Bobby said, great now why doesn't he throw me under a real bus. "You can't do this." Kara said. "That's the consensus." I said. "All right. Awesome. Then, end of discussion." Dean said sarcastically and Ricky and Sam's phones rang. "This isn't over. Hello?" Sam asked putting it on speaker. "Sam." I heard Marina said. "Ricky." I heard Castiel. "I hate hospitals." I heard Alison. "Guys." We all asked. "Are they okay?" Athena asked walking in. "We all thought you three were Dead. Where the hell are you, guys?" I asked. "A hospital, in case you didn't heard Alice." Marina said. "Are you guys okay?" Ricky asked. "No."  Castiel said. "You want to elaborate?" Crystal asked raising an eyebrow. "We just woke up here. The doctors were fairly surprised. They thought we were brain-dead." Alison said. "So, a hospital?" Evelyn asked. "Apparently, after Van Nuys, we suddenly appeared, bloody and unconscious, on a shrimping boat off Delacroix. We're told it upset the sailors." Marina said. "Uh, well, I got to tell you, three -- You're just in time. We figured out a way to pop Satan's box." I said. "How?" Castiel asked. "It's a long story, but, look --we're going after Pestilence now. So if you want to zap over here..." Dean trailed off. "We can't zap anywhere." Marina said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You could say our batteries are -- are drained." Alison said. "What do you mean? You're out of angel mojo?" I asked. "We're saying that we are thirsty and our heads ache. I have a bug bite that itches no matter how much I scratch it, and I'm saying that I'm just incredibly..." Castiel complained. "Human. Wow. Sorry." I said. "Well, my point is -- we can't go anywhere without money for...an airplane ride. And food. And more pain medication, ideally." Castiel said. "Suck it up buttercup." Alison said. "All right. Well, look, no worries. Uh, Hades's here. He'll wire you the cash." Dean said. "Dean, wait." Marina said. "I will?" Pa asked. "You said no to Michael. I owe you an apology." Castiel said. "Cas...I-it's okay." Dean said, shrugging like the crap wasn't beaten out of him. "You are not the burnt and broken shell of a man that I believed you to be." Castiel said. "Thank you. I appreciate that." Dean said. "You're welcome." Marina said. "How much do they need?" Pa asked having a checkbook out. "Honey." Ma said. "Hey they are on our team." Pa said. Dean, Sam, Kara, Ricky, Bobby, Ma, Pa, and I were in the yard. "Be careful." Bobby, Ma, and Pa said to us. "We hopefully will." I said. "Wait I'm joining." Crystal said getting in Ricky's car. I also got in. We got to an old people's home. "So this is Dr. Evil's lair, huh?" Kara said. "It's kind of more depressing than evil." Sam said. "It's like a four-color brochure for dying young. Of course, to Pestilence, it's probably Dollywood in there." Dean said. "Great. A whole building full of people. We don't know who's human, who's demon, and who's pestilence." Ricky said. "So what do we do?" I asked. "Hang on." Crystal said. Crystal and I walked in and smiled at the guard. "Hey. Hi. Uh, we're looking for my Nana. Uh, her name is Eunice Kennedy." I said. "Go around front and see the nurse." The guard said. "You mind just helping us out, sir? Uh, she's about, uh, about that small and gray hair, wears diapers." Crystal said. I then decked him unconscious. "Eunice Kennedy?" Sam asked. "That's the beauty about improv, guys. You never know what's gonna come out of your mouth." I said. "So, what are we even looking for?" Kara asked. "Well, he's Pestilence, so he probably looks sick." Ricky said. "Everybody looks sick." Crystal said. "Hey." I said pointing to a monitor seeing it. "Oh, now we're talking." Dean said. We saw the doctor and nurse. We looked and saw a doctor and nurse talking we ran as the doctor threw up and we got there and puke got on my boots. "Ugh... Must be getting close." I said disgusted. "You think?" Crystal asked. Dean fell to the floor. "Dean? Get up." We said worried. "The doctor will see you now." The nurse said and she was a demon. We looked and saw Pestilence. "Winchesters. Come right in." He said and I felt instantly sick like someone just gave me pneumonia, and I've had double walking pneumonia. "You asshole." I mumbled. "Hmm. You all don't look well. It might be the, uh, Scarlet fever. Or, uh, the meningitis. Or double walking pneumonia. Oh! Or the syphilis. That's no fun. However you feel right now? It's gonna get so very, very much worse. Questions? Disease gets a bad rap, don't you think? For being filthy. Chaotic. Uh, but, really, t-that just describes people who get sick. Disease itself... Very...Pure...Single-minded. Bacteria have one purpose --divide and conquer. That's why, in the end...It always wins. So, you've got to wonder why God pours all his love into something so messy...And weak. It's ridiculous. All I can do is show him he's wrong, one epidemic at a time. Now... On a scale of 1 to 10, how's your pain?" Pestilence said. "I'm gonna cut off your head." Ricky rasped out, and I noticed he had chicken pox, seriously this dude is a hunter and never had chicken pox. I saw the door open and two very pissed off angels walked in, oh yeah you don't piss off and angels mate. "How'd you get here?" Pestilence asked. "Hades got us a flight." Marina said. "Don't worry." Castiel said to Ricky but they fell over in pain. "Well, look at that. Occupied vessels, but powerless. Oh, that's fascinating. There's not a speck of angel in you two, is there?" Pestilence asked. I took my blade and cut Pestilence's pinkie finger off getting the ring. "No one hurts my family." I said. "It doesn't matter. It's too late." Pestilence said. We were back at Ma and Pa's and Ricky was in Castiel's arms, Sam held Marina, and Alison held Athena. "Well, it's nice to actually score a home run for once, ain't it? What?" Ma asked seeing our faces were sad. "Last thing Pestilence said. It's too late." Sam said. "He get specific?" Bobby asked. "That prick is never specific if he was I blame body snatchers took over." Pa said. "Pa's right he didn't get more specific." I said. "We're just a little freaked out that he might have left a bomb somewhere. So please tell us you have actual good news." Dean said. "Chicago's about to be wiped off the map." Evelyn said. "Storm of the millennium. Sets off a daisy chain of natural disasters. Three million people are gonna die." Reece said. "Huh." We all said. "I don't understand your definition of good news." Castiel said. "They were being sarcastic babe." Ricky said. "No they weren't death, the horseman -- he's gonna be there. And if we can stop him before he kick-starts this storm, get his ring back." Bobby said, wow that actually did turn to nice news. "Yeah, you make it sound so easy." Kara said. "Hell, I'm just trying to put a spin on it." Bobby said. "Well... Bobby, h-how'd you put all this together, anyways?" Crystal asked. "Yeah I can't even pull something together this fast." Athena said. "I had, you know... Help." Bobby said. "Don't be so modest. I barely helped at all. Hello, Wayward Winchester's. Pleasure, et cetera. Go ahead. Tell them. There's no shame in it." Crowley said. "Bobby? Tell us what?" Ricky asked. "World's gonna end. Seems stupid to get all precious over one little... soul." Bobby said. "You sold your soul?" We all asked. "Oh, more like pawned it. I fully intend to give it back." Crowley said. "Well, then give it back!" I yelled. "I will." Crowley said. "Now!" Dean yelled at the demon. "Did you kiss him?" Crystal asked. "Crys!" Sam and Kara yelled. "Just wondering." Crystal said "No!" Bobby said. "Yes." The witch and Nephilim said. "I made this for you." Reece said handing both men a crochetd gay pride flag, while Crowley showed us a picture. "Why'd you take a picture?" Evelyn asked. "Why did Bobby have to use tongue?" Crowley asked. "All right. You know what? I'm sick of this. Give him his soul back now." Siren said walking in drinking a glass of soapy water. "I'm sorry. I can't." Crowley said. "Can't or won't?" Alison asked. "I won't, all right? It's insurance." Crowley said. "What are you talking about?" Ma and Pa asked now confused. "You all kill demons. Gigantor over there has a temper issue about it, Princess and my brat sister has no problem chopping me up and scattering me around the world. But you all won't kill me... as long as I have that soul in the deposit box." Crowley said. "You son of a bitch." Bobby, Reece, and Evelyn said. "I'll return it. After all this is over, and I can walk safely away. Do we all understand each other?" Crowley asked. "Is it possible to deck you." Alison said. We were now all outside. "Let me guess. We're about to have a talk." Dean said. "Look, Sam, Dean, um... for the record... I agree with you. About me. You all think I'm too weak to take on Lucifer. Well, so do I. Believe me, I know exactly how screwed up I am. You guys, Kara, Ricky, Ma, Pa, Bobby, Marina, Cas... I'm the least of any of you." I said. "Oh Mae." They said. "No, it's true. It is. But... I'm also all we got. If there was another way... but I don't think there is. There's just me. So I don't know what else to do. Except just try t-to do what's got to be done." I said. "And... scene. There's something you need to see." Crowley said tossing us a paper. "Niveus pharmaceuticals is rushing delivery of its new swine-flu vaccine to stem the tide of the unprecedented outbreak. Uh, shipments leave Wednesday." I read. "Niveus pharmaceuticals. Get it? You guys are lucky you have your looks. Your demon lover, Brady? V.P. of distribution, Niveus. Ah, yes, that the sound of the abacus clacking? We all caught up?" Crowley asked. "So, pestilence was spreading swine flu." Sam said. "Yeah, but not just for giggles. That was step one. Step two is the vaccine." Dean said. "I know. I'll stake my reputation -- that vaccine is chock-full of grade-a, farm-fresh croatoan virus." Crowley said. "Simultaneous, countrywide distribution. It's quite a plan." I said. "They don't get to be horsemen for nothing. So, you boys better stock up on... well, everything. This time next Thursday, we'll all be living in zombieland." Crowley said. We were going to take down the distribution of Croatoan virus I threw Castiel and Marina shotguns. "What's your problem?" Bobby asked the two. "This is what they mean by the 11th hour, right?" Marina asked. "Pretty much." Kara said. "Well, it's the 11th hour, and I am useless. All I have is this. What am I even supposed to do with it?" Castiel asked. "Point it and shoot." Ma said. "What I used to be..." Castiel trailed off. "Are you really gonna bitch -- to us? Quit pining for the varsity years... and load the damn truck." I said to the angel pissed. "All right, well... good luck stopping the whole zombie apocalypse." Dean said. "Yeah. Good luck killing Death." Sam said to Dean and Kara.
"Remember when we used to just...hunt wendigos? How simple things were?" Kara said. "Not really." I said. "I was never with you guys I got Gordon Walker." Ricky said. "And now you get Death." Reece said to my friend. Castiel kissed Ricky. "Don't die." He said. "I won't." Ricky said. "Well, um... you might need this." I said handing them Ruby's knife. "Didn't I have that?" Sam asked. "You don't think I can't pick pocket you?" I asked. "Keep it. They're covered. Death's own. Kills, golly, demons and angels and reapers and, rumor has it, the very thing itself." Crowley said. "How did you get that?" Ma and Pa asked. "Hello --king of the crossroads. So, shall we? Bobby, you just gonna sit there?" Crowley said. "Not funny Fergus." Evelyn said and I tried not laughing at his actual name. "No, I'm gonna river dance." Bobby said sarcastically. "I suppose if you want to impress the ladies. Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. Really wasted that crossroads deal. Fact -- you get more if you phrase it properly. So, I took the liberty of adding a teeny little sub-a clause on your behalf. What can I say? I'm an altruist. Just gonna sit there?" Crowley said Bobby study up from the chair fine. "Son of a bitch." Reece said. "Yes, I know. Completely worth your soul. I'm a hell of a guy." Crowley said. "Thanks." Bobby said. "This is getting maudlin. Can we go?" Crowley said. We were now in Bobby's van it was Sam, Siren, Reece, Evelyn, Castiel, Marina, Bobby, and I. The others went to help Dean, Kara, Ricky, and Crowley. Sam told Marina and Castiel my plan. "Yes, to Lucifer. Then jump in the hole. It's an interesting plan." Castiel said. "You one time thought glitter glue was interesting." Siren said rolling his eyes. "That's a word for it." Bobby said driving. "So? Go ahead and tell me it's the worst plan you ever heard." I said to the two angels. "Of course. I am happy to say that if that's what you want to hear. But it's not what we think." Marina said looking at me. "Really?" I asked. "You and Dean have a habit of exceeding my expectations. He resisted Michael. Maybe you could resist Lucifer but there are things that you would need to know." Castiel said. "Like?" I asked raising an eyebrow at the angels. "Michael has found another vessel." Marina said. "What?" Sam asked his mate. "It's your brother Adam. You must have considered it." Castiel said. "We were trying not to." I said. "Mary... if you say yes to Lucifer and then fail... this fight will happen. And the collateral... it'll be immense." Castiel said. "There's also the demon blood." Marina said. "What? What are you talking about?" Siren asked. "To take in Lucifer, it would be more than Sam and Kara ever drunk." Castiel said to us. "But... why?" I asked. "It strengthens the vessel. Keeps it from exploding." Marina said. "I could explode!" I yelled. "Calm down." Evelyn said. "But the guy he's in now --" Sam said. "He's drinking gallons." Castiel said. "And how is that not the worst plan you ever heard?" Reece asked. We got to the warehouse. "Yup, they're loading up hotshots of Croatoan in the trucks. Okay. First truck don't leave for an hour. We get in, we plant the c-4 every 25 feet, then we pull the fire alarm." Bobby said. "That truck is leaving." Siren said. "Balls!" Bobby yelled. "Okay, anyone got a new plan?" Evelyn asked. "Let's do our best." I suggested. We got out of the car with our guns and got near the warehouse. "Help!" Someone yelled. "Side door!" Bobby yelled. "Help me, please! Help!" The employee yelled. "Get back!" Reece yelled and used her powers to open the door. "Go. Come on. Go." Evelyn said. We saw a pack of Croatoan people attacking someone. I shot them. "Shoot anyone who tries to commit murder." I told the witch and Nephilim. "On it." Reece and Evelyn said. "Sam and I will try to free anyone who is still here." Siren said. "Us?" Castiel and Marina said. "Get the truck." I said. I was shooting the infected people saving others. "Go! Go!" Bobby said. "All clear." Siren and Sam said in unison. "Mae!" Bobby yelled I was about to turn but Castiel shot it. "Actually, these things can be useful." He said. "Can we commit our act of domestic terrorism already? Let's go." Reece said. We stopped the truck by killing the guy. We got back to Ma and Pa's I sat down and Ma and Pa sat next to me. "Want a movie night?" They asked. "Why?" I asked. "Just think we need one." Pa said. I nodded confused.
Ricky's POV
Dean and I showed Bobby the rings. "Well, how'd it go at the Rockettes audition?" I asked Bobby. "Well, high kicks -- fair. Boobs need work. I walked up and down stairs all night for no damn reason. I'm sore. Feels so good, I'm scared it's a dream. But then I remember that the world's dying, so, drink?" Bobby asked handing us beers. "Check it out." Dean said showing him the connected rings. "Hmm. Oh. So death told you two how to operate those? The whole deal?" Bobby asked. "Yeah. It's nuts. Of course, we got bigger problems now." I said. "Really? Like?" Bobby asked. "What do you think Death does to people who lie to his face?" Dean asked. "Nothing good." Bobby said. "Yeah." Dean said. "What'd you two say?" Bobby asked. "That we were cool with Mae driving the bus on the whole Lucifer plan." I said sadly. "So Death thinks Mae ought to say yes, huh?" Bobby said. "I don't know. Yeah." Dean said. "Hmm." Bobby hummed. "But, I mean, of course he'd say that. He works for Lucifer and Icicle." I said not wanting my best friend gone. "Against his will, I thought he said." Bobby said. "Well, I'd say, take his sob story with a fat grain of salt. I mean, he is Death." Dean said. "Exactly. He's Death. Think of the kind of bird's-eye view." Bobby said. "Seriously?" I asked. "I'm just saying." Bobby said. "Well, don't. I mean, what happened to you being against this?" I asked. "Look, I'm not saying Sam ain't an ass-full of character defects. But..." Bobby trailed off. "But what?" Dean asked. "Back at Niveus? I watched that kid kill infected people to save civilians and take charge because everyone else was panicked. We're hard on her, Dean. We've always been. But in the meantime... She been running into burning buildings since he was, what, 8?" Bobby asked us and I nodded. "Pretty much." Dean said. "Look, Mae's got a... darkness in her. I'm not saying she don't. But she's got a hell of a lot of good in her, too." Bobby said. "We know." I said. "Then you two know Mae will beat the devil... or die trying. That's the best we could ask for. So I got to ask, Dean and Ricky. What exactly are you afraid of? Losing? Or losing your sister and friend?" Bobby asked. I never thought of that, I guess I don't want to lose the girl who I can talk to about anything to.
