Peter's POV
I step outside not wanting to see the others or talk to anyone. I really don't miss her at all. I don't believe the whole brother thing. So then why did she kiss me?
She didn't fight me back either but then again she was pretty stunned. I remember talking back to her on the train. Sure she wasn't a huge mean looking girl more swift and mysterious in my opinion but I was scared she was going to punch me a few times. She had this vibe of "make me mad and I'll kill you and never be suspected."
I replay thoughts of her from school as well. I remember her in her black dauntless clothes running down the hallways with her friends shouting loudly. Even in the few classes I had with her she would always get in trouble for throwing notes or talking during class.
I met her in detention a few times. I never was in detention but I'd run an errand for a friend and see her with her feet on a desk and leaning back in a chair. I remember Drew always making fun of me for looking at her.
After school she and Lynn were running around tackling their friends. One time I walked down a street and heard yelling and shouting. When I looked back I saw her and her group of friends running through the people. Soon they started climbing buildings except for Ash who stuck behind.
I had my school bag on my shoulder as I walked past the busy people dressed in different colors. I hear laughter and looked behind myself to see a group of girls and one guy running through the crowd. I step aside and as they run past me I begin to run along side of them.
I'm 15 and always found dauntless a faction I'd be skilled in. I run along side a girl with brown hair and blue eyes. Dimples pressed deep into her skin with a bright white smile. Her ponytail flying behind her. She looks over at all the people and smiles. Then she looks at me.
I almost feel my heart stop and she shoots me a confused dirty glare. I stop running and watch as she looks back ahead and jumps on the guys back. They laugh and continue on while I stand feeling hurt yet smiling. She's different I like her.
But now I'm not sure if I still like her. I still ache to see her face and hear her laugh. Now I frown and lean against a tree. I get a feeling in my stomach that I won't see her face, scar, eyes, tattoos, dimples, and smile again. Instead I'll see pain, scratches, pale skin, and horrified eyes.
Stop lying to yourself Peter you know the drill
I'll never see her again, hear her laugh, or her occasional shout at someone doing something wrong. No I know I won't ever see her again.
Hard to see someone when their dead....
